    So then,

All arrivals from China, Italy, Korea and Macao coming into Thailand, even if transiting through them, have to self-quarantine for 14 days, and if caught not doing so will be fined up to 20,000 baht.

That's the Chinko tourism completely dead for the foreseeable future then.

Never ready are we. Always reacting. These viruses pop up every few years so why the fuck don't we have test equipment, masks, and the like in stock!

Some interesting reading today about baldy orange cunto and his ICE nazis.

So the risk for undocumented aliens of being arrested if they go for medical treatment means that, even if they have the virus, they probably won't go.

    So much winning!

Should be empty and quite the relaxing time.

I gotta say what a streak of luck. Being I hate Pattaya area and have, then moving to CB area (Sattahip) for work the virus is a blessing. All the El Chinkos are gone so traffic is easy cheesy. I will be out of here about the time the virus has done a full circle back to China. They can all come back after I leave.

Its amazing how empty the beaches are and the resorts. Songteuw drivers fight over customers. most roadside businesses closed. I have to say, they at least used this time to repave the highway. Someone was thinking either that or they just got lucky...I am thinking the latter...

Two men in Batam, Riau Islands, who had been in close contact with a Singaporean COVID-19 patient have evaded quarantine, the city's health authorities said on Tuesday.

Both residents work as app-based ojek (motorcycle taxi) drivers and are among the 15 people identified as having been in close contact with three Singapore residents who tested positive for COVID-19 after visiting Batam. The two were supposed to be quarantined with nine other people at the haj dormitory complex in Batam from March 2 to 8, while the four other contacts are being quarantined in their homes.

"One of them was already quarantined but then ran away. Another has refused since the beginning and can't be reached now. They refused to be quarantined because they're afraid of losing their jobs and income,” Riau Islands Health Agency head Tjeptjep Yudiana told The Jakarta Post on Tuesday. “We're currently looking for ways to give them money [to replace their lost earnings].”

He said his agency had requested the local police's help to search for the two men so they could proceed with the quarantine.

Just read a piece about how the virus is most common in countries with the new 5G roll outs. Seems to be doing the rounds on social media today.

When the coronavirus outbreak began, Iran's leaders confidently predicted their country's immunity.
They refused to implement quarantines, saying it was a practice from the Stone Age.

As the coronavirus crisis unfolded, religious leaders kept Islamic holy sites open and Iranian companies even exported their face masks to help China.
These Islamic Governments/Countries are the worst virus in the world. They are the ones living in the stone age blaming every little misshap on the west. Not only do they treat their own people like shit, but are unable to respect or cooperate with western countries. This pandemic will finally show us how these religious nutters are out of control.
    Joke of the day:

Is it safe to travel to Turkey?

There are currently no travel restrictions to Turkey due to coronavirus, as the country is one of the few destinations to have no reported cases.
Remember Turkey's airports are the link between Asia-Europe-Middle East-Africa.

P.S. don't count on a vaccine made in _ _ _ _ _ (you can fill in the blanks yourself)

A letter from the Italian members of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine to their colleagues:

    Milan, 4 March 2020

    Dear friends,

At this moment in time, we believe it is important to share our first impressions and what we have learned in the first ten days of the COVID-19 outbreak.

We have seen a very high number of ICU admissions, almost entirely due to severe hypoxic respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation.

The surge can be important during an outbreak and cluster containment has to be in place to slow down virus transmission.

We are seeing a high percentage of positive cases being admitted to our Intensive Care Units, in the range of 10% of all positive patients.

We wish to convey a strong message: Get ready!

We also want to share with you some key points from our experience:

    • Get ready now - with your ICU’s networks - to define your contingency plan in the event of an outbreak in your community
    • Don’t work “in silo”. Coordinate with your hospital management and other healthcare professionals to prepare your response
    • Make sure your hospital management and procurement office have a protocol in place about which personal protection equipment (PPE) to stock and re-stock
    • Make sure your staff is trained in donning and doffing procedures
    • Use education, training and simulation as much as possible
    • Identify early hospitals that can manage the initial surge in a safe way
    • Increase your total ICU capacity
    • Get ready to prepare ICU areas where to cohort COVID-19 + patients - in every hospital if necessary
    • Put in place a triage protocol to identify suspected cases, test them and direct them to the right cohort
    • Make sure you set clear goals for care with the patients and their families early on

    With our best regards

Prof. Maurizio Cecconi Prof. Antonio Pesenti Prof. Giacomo Grasselli

    It is funny but.....

The big Data Centers (Equinix, Global Switch etc.) are being visited by Chinese for roll outs or repairs. And then comes the finger/hand screen, where everyone can leave a virus on the pad. Yes, there is disinfection being offered, but not many use them.

Ahemm sorry, Germany you got a BIG PROBLEM !

The german media is still playing it down.

    Fake news at its best!
Yours truly, Frau Angela Dorothea Merkel (notice how I have also stripped her from her doctor title )

Ohh, you know how those germans always want to be in first place, it will be hard to beat the Chinese, but I'm sure they will take the silver medal.

I guess you never been to any Data Centers. Do you think Chinese only operate restaurants ?

Data Centers have cages where companies keep their servers, switches etc. Some companies only allow their OWN people to touch them. Lots of companies use cheap labors to install equipment for roll outs, maintenance and repairs. Why should Huawei hire expensive Europeans, when they have a shitload of cheap labor to install their equipment.

I have seen them myself, and they didn't look like janitors

Money is filthy. Possibly the most underestimated means to transfer any virus or cold.

Just had a report today an Italian guy over here on business in Laem Chabang has been diagnosed with the Covid 19.
