Thread: Hua Hin Mayor's Office plans to build scenic tower

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, 2nd October 2018 (NNT) - Hua Hin Mayor's Office in Prachuap Khiri Khan province has announced plans to build a scenic tower and an elevated glass walkway on Hin Lek Fai hill.

The Assistant to the Hua Hin Mayor, Jeerawat Phramanee, on Tuesday (Oct 2) said the engineering department of the Hua Hin Municipality Office had designed the "Hua Hin Sky Walk Tower" to be built on the district's viewpoint hill.

Mr. Jeerawat said visitors can enjoy panoramic views on the scenic tower, stroll along the elevated glass walkway, and see a large "Hua Hin" sign visible from a distance.

He said that if the project gets approval, the Hua Hin Municipality Office would seek funding for the construction.

Presumably there already is a view from the top of the hill. It seems to me a tower built on the hill would spoil the look of the hill itself. Don't build the tower and there will be no need to seek funding for it.
