BANGKOK, 11th February 2018 (NNT) - Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) Deputy Permanent Secretary, Wanchai Thanormsak, attended the "We Do Good Things with Our Hearts" project to improve Manao canal landscape.

The project was launched at Manao canal in Bang Kho Laem and Yan Nawa districts. The opening ceremony was presided over by Bangkok Governor’s adviser Phanurat Meephian.

Mr.Phanurat said the benevolence of His Majesty the King has led to sustainable development of Manao canal from Rama III Road to Narathiwat Ratchanakharin road in Bang Kho Laem and Yan Nawa districts to prevent and solve flood problems in Bangkok area.

The project is also in line with the policy of the Bangkok governor to develop Bangkok into a green area. The activities included cleaning pavements, dredging canals, clearing waterways, collecting garbage, planting trees and adjusting landscape in the area.
