PHRAE, 3 February 2018 (NNT) – Culture Minister Vira Rojpojchanarat opened Wat Sri Donkam Community Cultural Street where local goods are available for sales and local cultures are showcased.

The minister presided over the opening ceremony for Wat Sri Donkam Community Cultural Street, designed to showcase local cultures, as well as selling indigenous goods such as food, textiles, handicrafts, and agricultural products.

He visited the cultural learning center at the house of Pranom Tapaeng, a national artist whose remarkable talent is respected for the conservation of local textiles.

The house now opens as a learning center for students and interested persons to learn about local "Teen Jok" textile weaving, which will help preserving the national heritage and allow villagers to earn more incomes.
