Just goes to show that thailand is still 3rd world. Should have never happened. Nobody should have fallen into that hole ffs, and confined space training with gas/oxygen testing should be kindergarten level for rescue services. Gas testers are cheap, abundant, and very accurate nowadays.

Sorry to point out that aint due to Thailand being a '''third 'world Country"
its due to the simple fact that people will try to help other people who are in distress.

It happens in other "First World" countries like Australia, England and even the good old US of A on a fairly regular basis.

Confined space rescue training is part of the way I have been putting bread and butter on the table for the past few years and i get sent bulletins from the various Australian work safe type bodies so we can keep current with what's going on out there.
