    Damn Foreigners.
Time to round up all the undesirables, toss 'em out and banned from entry forever.

    ...close the borders permanently.

The guy's insurance should cover it. The lives of those peasants using the sliding scale employed by the Thai/Cinese Establishment are probably only worth about 200,000 baht at most. If the Aussie was an influential chickenhead he'd be cautioned for driving whilst under the influence of medications, exonerated from any criminal charge and the matter would have been left to local arrangement.
But because he's farang he'll be hung out to dry.

Do you or have you ever owned a car Simple?

You strike me as a hitchhiking type of bloke with fingers pointing this way and that way to get through life.

Keep on posting your drivel. It is very entertaining.

Everyone knows (or should know) the road hazards (which includes bikes n such of all variety) and extreme dangers when driving in the land of thighs.

The lady biker may not be blameless but she's hardly an exception to the norm.

When you drive in T-land you should find your balance between offensive and defensive driving and be prepared to avoid any number of accidents.

It's just the way it is.

    RIP to the deceased.

I hope they throw the book at him just as I'd hope the authorities would throw it at anyone that reckless.

    Delayed reaction from meds.

One must always be 110% alert on the road in Thailand.

Blokes gonna lose some weight in prison now.

Whats with the bullet shell casings in the second video at 2 mins 18s ??

Police shot his tyres after he had crashed into the motorbike and dragged it down the road.

He asked the police to shoot him when he was caught.

You 'agree with others' about it?

It's plainly stated in the report.
Whatever, was meaning he was between a mini Scylla and a massive Charybdis and got for the worst... condidering it was a minor incident it was a very dumb move, something around this line, if you can figure out

There have been quite a few hit and runs in oz. Usually because the driver is pissed or on drugs. This guy has killed innocent people by his own actions in trying to avoid responsibility for the first accident. He deserves a lengthy gaol sentence.
Just another example of how one stupid decision can change lives forever.

Absolutely. Watch the facebook cctv vid several times, use the pause button. The idiot woman just drives her motorbike right in front of the guy's car, when she didn't have the right of way as she was trying to enter a road way, plus she enters from the wrong side (!), the side with ONCOMING traffic. Doesn't even look like she slowed down before trying to enter this road that had traffic on it. Wtf? Did she think she was going to do what a lot of Thais, especially women, do which is drive against the oncoming traffic 'on the side'?

so what if the farang was speeding? Everybody speeds in Thailand.

It's not his fault, or at least not *entirely* his fault.

Stupid f*#king woman got herself and a kid--maybe two--killed for driving the same braindead way a lot of Thais drive.

But Sir! Sir! He does it too!

The idiot was moving like a bat out of hell!

The woman's admittedly idiotic manoeuvre is just further evidence, as if any were needed, that Thailand is one of the worst places on earth to be combining breaking the speed limit with being pissed.

I'd have more sympathy for the guy if he hadn't been fleeing the cops... hard to defend him even though the woman was in the path of on-coming traffic i.e. on the wrong side of the road.
