Two Women Detained in Tachileik, Myanmar Over Gruesome Killing of Karaoke Bar Receptionist

CHIANG RAI – Myanmar police in Tachileik that borders Mae Sai, Chiang Rai have detained two women suspected of being involved in the killing of a 22-year-old Warisara Klinjui whose body was severed into two pieces and buried in a wooded area in Khon Kaen province last week.

Piyanuch Nonwangchai, 24, and Kavita Rachada, 26, are due to be handed over to Thai police at a checkpoint connecting Tachileik with Chiang Rai’s Mae Sai district.

Both women were detained as they were working at an entertainment venue in Tachileik.

Police are also hunting for a man and a woman named as Wasin and Jidara (both family names are unknown) for being involved in the killing of Warisara.

A provincial Court has issued arrest warrants on five suspects including Piyanuch, Kavita, Wasin and Jidara.

Warisara’s body was cut into two parts reportedly to fit into a water tank which was buried in a forest area.

Immigration police in Nong Khai province have intensified their screening to prevent the suspects from fleeing to Laos.

Police earlier said that the evidence is clear that the suspects allegedly picked up Warisara from her apartment and had an argument. Information obtained by police suggested the group planned to kill her over a personal grudge that possibly involved illegal drugs.

Police have questioned a large number of people since the body was discovered, including the victim’s husband Sakchai Bahtthemdee, a construction contractor, and several of Warisara’s female “tomboy” friends.

3 Suspects in custody over horrific murder of Karaoke girl

Three out of the four suspects have been taken into custody over their involvement in the murder of a young Karaoke girl near to Khon Kaen.

The murder took place last week in which a young karaoke girl known as “Nong Em” was brutally murdered and chopped into pieces before being hidden in a wooded area.

Now three out of the four main suspects have turned themselves in, after the story gained so much media coverage and attention online.

A young male, aged 22 was the first to hand himself in. He admitted to being involved in the murder, but has stated that he did not commit the actual crime. His “job” was to drive the car in the planned attack.

More recently, two girls though to be involved in the murder have turned themselves in.

Priaw, 24, and Earn, 25, have handed themselves in to police.

Since then, a series of text messages between the two have surfaced online in which they can be seen not only talking about the murder, but also about a previous murder of a pregnant girl that has yet to be solved.

Priaw has also had her facebook posts shown, in which she states that she wants to go to jail to be with her boyfriend. She also posted a sick picture of the doll “Chucky” as a reference.

Police are convinced that the motive for the killing was because Nong Em alerted police to the gang, who were thought to have been selling drugs.

The final suspect yet to be caught is another female. It doesn’t look likely that she will be turning herself in any time soon, however, after posting a message on facebook that read something along the lines of:

“3 of my friends have been caught. If you think you are so clever, come and catch me if you can”

A taped interview with the male has also been released in which he confirms that the attack was planned. He drove the car with the three other suspects in. The spotted Em and physically kidnapped her

Whilst in the car, a plastic bad was supposedly place over the head of Em by Priaw and then tied. Priaw then started punching, kicking and strangling Em, so much so, that she dies during the attack.

The gang then drove to a piece of land supposedly owned by Priaw in khon kaen, where they stopped off at a DIY show to buy tools.

He went on to say that Priaw then started cutting the body into pieces and discarding the remains in a wooded area, before making their escape.

Police will continue their interviews in the next few days and are still tracking down the fourth suspect.

One of the four suspects wanted by Khon Kaen police for alleged involvement in the murder and decapitation of a karaoke bar girl was arrested and was being escorted back to Khon Kaen province for questioning.

Pol Col Pongrith Kongsirisombat, superintendent of the 3rd subdivision of the 4th regional police bureau, said Tuesday that Thai police, with the cooperation of their Laotian counterpart, apprehended 25-year old Wasin Namprom at a guesthouse near the Laotian National University in Vientiane.

He added that the suspect was being escorted back to Khon Kaen.

Meanwhile, Khao Suan Kwang district police invited the parents of another suspect, Ms Preeyanut “Preaw” Nonwangchai, for interrogation, concerning the murder and decapitation of Ms Warisa “Am” Klinjuey.

The couple said they had raised Preeyanut since her birth until she grew up and that she had always been gentle.

However, they suspected that, because of her association with some bad friends, she turned a different person.

An informed police source said Ms Preeyanut contacted her sister through B-talk, admitting that she colluded with three other friends in the murder of Miss Warisa because she was angry that the victim informed the police about her husband’s involvement in drug trade which led to his arrest by the police.

Ms Preeyanut said they lured the victim out of the karaoke bar and into their CRV utility car and, once inside, they started beating her up and, finally, strangling her to death after she challenged them to kill her.

Then the driver drove the car around town for a couple of rounds before heading for a resort in Ban Non Tun in Muang district where they helped in cutting up her body in pieces and put in two black bins. Her body was buried in the area of Ban Non sa-nga in Khao Saun Kwang district.

She has a freakishly enormous head. Still, what would you know, you'd fuck a doughnut coz it's got a sticky hole and would give you a meal afterward.

Still on the run Preeyanuch “Preaw” Nonechai, 24.
Police said they are looking for Preeyanuch and the other two suspects, 28-year-old Apiwan Sattayabundit and Kawita Ratchada, 25. Police said all three escaped into Myanmar and were last seen Tuesday in the Burmese border town of Tachileik.
The latest news is there is still no trace of them.
