PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, 23 January 2017 (NNT) – The Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan province has ordered relevant agencies to immediately remove garbage along Maeramphueng beach in Bang Saphan district, after flash floods have subsided.
Prachuap Khiri Khan Governor Thaweesak Narissirikul disclosed that the Maerampheung beach was littered with garbage across five kilometers from Maerampheung bridge to Pak Khlong village, as an aftermath of the flash floods.
Garbage items ranged from wood, foam, plastic, cans, glass bottles, and various other materials.
He has ordered the Bang Saphan District Chief Officer and local administrative organization to remove all garbage from the beach in order to restore the beautiful scenery and get rid of the foul odor that is troubling nearby residents.
