BANGKOK, 2 January 2017 (NNT) - The Ministry of Science and Technology will host the Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem fair to showcase science and technology projects and innovation by Thai people.

Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Science and Technology Natthawan Chuensiri on Monday represented the ministry in receiving a sign symbolizing the handover of the fair from the Ministry of Finance. The fair by the Ministry of Science and Technology will exhibit and sell science and technology-related products made by Thai people.

It will be the second time that the ministry will host the fair.

Minister of Science and Technology Atchaka Sribunruang said the objective of the fair was to promote science, technology and innovative production by Thai people. More than 240 types of products selected by the ministry and relevant units will be displayed and sold at the event. There will be booths by the ministry’s partner organizations in the public and private sector.

Highlights of the products at the event include plastic bottle vending machines, all-purpose dredging boats and the latest model of “Dinsow” service robots. There will also be food and beverages available at the event scheduled for 9-29 January 2017 at the Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem canal next to Government House.
