I can remember my second trip to Thailand.

I arrived on Koh Tao late December 88, had absolutely brilliant weather and thought I was in heaven.

Being a newbie I assumed this was how it was, How wrong was I.

Near on every year since the South of Thailand gets blown away in December and one can never assume December or even early January will be calm and bursting with sunshine.

It's a roll of the dice in the South and totally unpredictable.
