Yes, well the last time I merely mentioned the Japanese in a positive light (they saved the lives of British navy in Surabaya, the Northeast of Java Sea in 1942.
I received a very nasty comment directed at my wife. I won't name the person.

^ I'm not the enraged one lol... I like a good discussion... just having a difference of opinion. I concede some of your points. I used to be squarely on your side of the fence.

Yes, the Germans and Japanese committed the most atrocious acts during WW2 war, incomparable to the Western allies, no argument from me there (excluding the use of the atomic bomb)

Yes, we were all conditioned in school to excuse America for dropping the bomb as it saved an invasion force which would surely cause millions of Allied deaths yada yada
That's been debuted, even the Americans admit it wasn't really necessary or justified to drop the bomb in the middle of a civilian city. The Japanese were on the verge of defeat, but the Americans just wanted an excuse to use their new toy.

However, excluding WW2 (during world history), horrific acts have been committed the world over. No one nation or group is more savage than any another. That was my 1st point.

^ Farang summed up my 2nd point.. It's not fair to hold the new generation responsible for acts done by a dead generation.
