BANGKOK, 31 August 2016 (NNT) - The Royal Thai Police and the Department of Probation have unveiled a new social service program as well as a civil-state crime-prevention network.
Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda and Director-General of the Department of Probation Pol Col Narat Sawetanan signed a memorandum of cooperation to establish the new programs, in a bid to prevent crime and promote dignity and social responsibility.
Activities will include volunteer traffic officers and social awareness campaigns to create crime-prevention networks and improve on neighborhoods prone to crime.
