Thread: Body Found Near Abandoned House in San Sai

CHIANG MAI - The body of a Thai man was found near an abandoned house in San Sai with injuries to his face on December 3.

Police were called to the scene where the body of 31-year-old Suchart Pengkham was found.

Suchart worked as a furniture painter and had rented a house in San Sai, around 500 metres from where his body was found.

According to police investigations, Suchart had dinner and was drinking with his four colleagues before heading home at around 8pm. However, Suchart didn’t go home but took a detour.

He was then later found dead.

The same night, locals told police that an argument broke out at a bar on the roadside, around 100 metres away from where the body was found.

Police believe that this argument was related to the dead of Surchart.

The body has been taken for autopsy and the investigation continues.
