LONDON - Leicester have sacked all three players who appeared in a sexually explicit video made last month in Bangkok and showing them racially abusing a Thai woman. The firing of the three players, including the son of manager Nigel Pearson, was announced by the Premier League, rather than the club.

James Pearson, the son of Foxes boss Nigel Pearson, Tom Hopper and Adam Smith, appeared in the video, made in Bangkok during the club's end-of-season "goodwill tour" of Thailand. It documented several crude remarks, including one of two Thai women being called a "slit-eye".

According to the Premier League, the club conducted an inter investigation into the incident. Leicester are owned by the father and son combination of businessmen Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, owners of the King Power duty-free chain.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand is a sponsor of the club, and has an "Amazing Thailand" logo on the backs of the players' jerseys.

"Leicester City Football Club has (sic) notified Tom Hopper, Adam Smith and James Pearson that their contracts with the club have been terminated," said a club statement.

"The decision follows the conclusion of an internal investigation and disciplinary proceedings, as a consequence of events that took place during the club's end-of-season goodwill tour of Thailand. Leicester City Football Club is acutely aware of its position, and that of its players, as a representative of the city of Leicester, the Premier League, the Football Association and the club's supporters. It is committed to promoting a positive message of community and family values and equality, and to upholding the standards expected of a club with its history, tradition and aspirations. The club will make no further comment on the investigation, its finding or outcomes," the statement concluded.

Leicester were touring Thailand as they celebrated avoiding relegation from the lucrative Premier League.

That video is rather tame, a local friend of mine sent me the full hard core versions.....

You have to wonder about the brains of people who would film such a thing and then let it get out there......

I doubt it, they will smugly see that abuse them and you get sacked, but nothing happens the other way. That'll add to the superiority complex.....

strange that these "farangs" were only punished for using the words "slit eyes" but there was no mention of a reprimand for using the services of prostitutes.

A few EPL players have been caught with their pants down having sex with prostitutes but to my knowledge none have ever been sacked for it !!

Nothing wrong with having sex with prostitutes, abusing them racially or otherwise is the problem.

In football terms isn't the term WAG used to describe high maintenance prostitutes .

Quite sure they've been sacked for the entire dumb episode, but add the word 'racism' and it becomes more newsworthy.

Abroad, in the Country where the Clubs owner is from .

National Police launches probe over Leicester City racist sex tape

BANGKOK, 18 June 2015 (NNT) - The National Police Chief is considering further legal action against Leicester City players who took part in a racist sex tape filmed in Thailand during a goodwill tour.

The National Police Chief Somyot Pumpanmuang said an investigation has been launched into whether the British players committed any crimes punishable under Thai law. If it appears so, charges will be filed against them. The National Police are also looking into the identities of the women who appeared in the video to determine whether they can be charged with prostitution.

If they sacked every young bone head sportsman for this sort of thing there would be no Australian footballers or rugby players left in the country.

Its the sort of thing young fuk ups do when pissed up and showing off to their mates.

Their biggest mistake was filming it and banging it up on line.

That's why they are now in deep shit, its not about what went down in the privacy of that room.
