TWENTY-TWO MORE UZBEK PROSTITUTES ARRESTED IN PATTAYA
A large number of foreign females, who entered Thailand as tourists, but worked as prostitutes, were arrested.

On 14 June 2007, at 2:30 AM, several tourists complained to Pol.Col. Ithichai Ithisarnronachai, Pattaya Immigration Superintendent, that there were many Uzbek women offering sexual services around beer bars and entertainment places on Walking Street, South Pattaya.

The situation was, apparently, annoying to the tourists. The Chief of Police ordered Pol.Capt. Archeep Jaroensuk, Deputy Investigation Officer and a team of police officers, including twenty volunteers to clean up the situation. The police team arrested twenty-two Uzbek women who entered Thailand as tourists, but worked as prostitutes. Two of them had expired passports. The women were fined and a record was made of their offenses.

Pol.Col.Ithipol declared, after the arrests, that the head of Pattaya Immigration has ordered that Uzbek prostitutes, as well as prostitutes of other nationalities, be cleared from the streets quickly. The prostitutes are a nuisance and a disturbance to tourists. This is bad for Pattaya’s image, as well as Thailand’s.

More Uzbekistan Prostitutes Arrested in Walking Street

Problems of foreign prostitutes parading Pattaya are still ongoing. Pattaya Immigration officials – headed by Pattaya Immigration Superintendent;

Police Colonel Ittiphol Ittisarnronnachai patrolled Pattaya’s most famous and crowded tourist area and at 1 am on 14th June were able to detain 24 suspect prostitutes from Walking Street that were openly pestering tourists by offering sexual services; all were taken back to Pattaya Police station. When going through their documents; these ladies were found to be all Uzbekistan nationals. They stated that they entered Thailand as tourists but they had ran out of money so were forced to resort to prostitution. However, the police noticed that this was the same group that they see wondering around as prostitutes and assume from the many entry stamps on their passports that they do this regularly.
In fact, two of the women’s passports were found to be expired; Miss Monira Tuychiyeva aged 26 and Miss Zebo Ruzieva aged 37.
The 22 remaining women’s details were recorded and they were charged 500 Baht each. As for the 2 women with expired passports; they will be sent to Bangkok for further proceedings and then deported out of Thailand.

Immigration Police Arrest Uzbekistani Prostitutes Again.
At around 3:30am on Thursday Immigration police led by Colonel Itipon swooped on Walking Street and rounded up 22 Uzbekistani nationals, all of them female, and took them back to the Immigration offices in Jomtien to be charged with engaging in prostitution.
Ten of the Uzbekistani women were found to have expired passports, and these ladies of easy virtue will be locked up before being deported. The remaining dozen, whose passports and visas were all in order, were fined, slapped on the wrist and told to go forth and not spend their evenings lying on their backs as this can cause substantial weight gain.

Sure, tourists don't expect to be bothered by Uzbekistan rejects, authorities should make sure there's more local quality goods on display in the streets.

I can only assume the one in pink is a plant, if she was a prostitute she would have lost a lot of weight due to having no customers and no money, then again there is always butterfly I suppose.
