possibly we may find out the truth this time.

When it comes to covering up, clouding the issue, denying responsibility, shifting the blame, lying, self preservation and purposely misleading those seeking truth and justice the Thai are world class.

The true facts about these murders have long been lost in all the red herrings, false leads and conflicting stories that have conveniently emerged over the past weeks.

As in every other case involving the murder of a tourist in Thailand and the resultant loss of income for the unfeeling, amoral and mercenary Thai, dont expect anything resembling the truth to rear its inconvenient head any time soon.

From the general at the top with his quite unbelievable pronouncements about bikinis all the way down to the lowliest jobsworth policeman boiling water to pour over the suspects heads during the interrogation, we are dealing with very stupid but tricky people.

Just how these neanderthal people have escaped being taken over by a more advanced culture and forcibly civilised is a mystery to me.

The answer is simple: geography.

Siam didn't have anything it's bordering countries couldn't provide for their occupying colonial powers.

China and America have been their only colonial influences of note and no one would accuse them of being civilised.

On what do you base this claim of significant British influence in Thailand post-WW2?

should of kept my mouth shut can't find it now, after WW2 didn't the Brits take oveR the Admin of Thailand and introduce laws or was that way back in the 1800s when they came and traded.
