The British ambassador has pronounced his satisfaction with the professionalism and expertise of the Royal Thai Police. Sherlock Holmes detective work messaged to the BBC doesn't really compare.

The Burmese will be dead within three months.

Unless of course, the British ambassador were to change his current posture and express outrage etc, etc on behalf of the British government and the families.

From what I have read, the families were deeply affected by the vigil conducted by the islanders. Obviously they haven't a clue of the metrics involved here.

Interesting case but I have to say I don't think I have ever witnessed such an inept display of toadying from a member of the British diplomatic corps as that given by Kent. I should think the British want something from the Thai. Perhaps importing more widgets from Wolverhampton? Who knows but I doubt the lives of a trio of Burmese slaves will matter one jot in their thinking.
