Sure, the whole content of diazepam seems emptied, but the position of both bodies doesn't seem to indicate that was solely the cause - rare that both victims die / lose consciousness at nearly identical times. This does seem to support, rather an external influence - CO2 poisoning or something of that sort, as speculated on by DrAndy above.

Particularly since CO2 poisoning can sneak up on you, the victim being unaware, and for it to strike rather sudden. The scene could support that.

sounds just like a description of the laptop you already have.

This is the problem with jailing ENT, we don't have the full TS CSI to explain amusingly implausible was in which their pair died.

It doesn't look like your typical suicide which makes it a tragedy and perhapse a warning for the rest of to be careful with origin of the meds we use and for the few addicts amongst us the quality of their illicit stuff. cause this is thailand and there are loads of people who just dont care about what their stuff does to their customers.

Thirty Five year old Charlie Milsom from Britain and 40 year old American Jonathan Louis were both discovered in a rented condominium. Reports indicate that the two were discovered in an upright, sitting, position and showed signs of vomiting, they had, according to reports, been dead for up to ten hours before the grim discovery.

With absolutely no signs of a struggle in the room, the bodies of the two English language tutors were found in a relaxed and natural position as if simply watching television.

Mr. Milsom, a Yorkshire man by birth, studied for both a BA and HND in graphic design in the UK, before moving to Thailand where he taught computer studies and Graphics. A well known photographer he had travelled the length and breadth of the nation taking photographs which were often used by agencies. Up until a few years ago he had been working as a teacher in Bangkok.

Thamakorn Apison, a close friend of Mr. Louis, is said to have explained that she and Mr. Louis had been living together for 14 years and had occupied the condominium where the two men were found, for two year. The two men, who were friends, had gone to the home and she had returned in the morning. Finding the door locked, she asked a security guard to open it and it was then that the two men were found, dead. told police that she had been living with Louis at a school in a local shopping mall for 14 years and they moved to the condominium two years ago.

Ms Thamakorn said both men, who were friends, went into the room the night before. The next morning, she discovered that the door was locked so she asked a security guard to unlock it. It was then that the two were found dead. In the room, which was in a normal tidy fashion, officials found a single pack of Diazepam.

Police and emergency services confirmed that the men had been dead for hours. The bodies were removed for forensic examination and both the British and American Embassies have been informed.

Will be interesting to what was actually in the Diazepem.

But jeez ... the only meds I use in Thailand is aspirin (for hangovers). Think I'll start getting them sent out here from UK.

Rather think we can do without the photographs.

Unless of course TD is fair and square in the camp of the chickenhead morons incapable of understanding how disrespectful and offensive they are to any decent, civilised human being?

    Too cryptic for me.

Can the "experts" on here tell me one thing: are these Diazepem pills just taken as-is (with water) or are they crushed up mixed with other stuff and injected, or similar or what? I dont know. I know zip about the "drug scene", but am now nervous about taking ANY pills locally sourced.

As for the negative comments about the pictures, well I think I agree (a bit) but for me, the "ordinariness" of the main picture showing 2 fellahs quietly sleeping is startlingly shocking when you know they are dead. Its impact on me is more disturbing than seeing a slasher movie...

I highly doubt a botched attempt at making valium would result in something that lethal. You need to take A LOT to OD. And I don't think anything ultra-poisonous is used when brewing a batch of benzos, if say they failed to get to the intended compound and you end up eating pre-cursors.

Usually just swallowed in a pill, can also be injected, but if you dissolve the pills and shoot up there's also the pill binders (which probably wouldn't worry your seasoned junky too much). In hospitals they always have valium IV drips. You can also shove the pills up yer arse and let them absorb from your bowels, getting faster effects and better economy

Drug used in rehab? Could it be methadone (no idea if it's used in Thailand)? There were almost 4,000 deaths in 2004 in the US alone where it was a contributing factor (Methadone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).

they can have died of some food.. as the canadian sister or the swedish guy apparently... and thats just the cases, where there was NO WAY to blame it onto some "medicine" or "drug" found in the room...

while one was falling "asleep" he can have thought the other is sleeping as well, while the situation was much more dangerous in fact...
its possible, they ate/got drugged with the same stuff at the same time...

if the shirt is really that strange buttoned as it looks its a bit weird...
as men that age usually get it managed, except - they are drugged or someone else would put it on in a hurry...

and most deaths involved combinations of methadone with other drugs (especially benzodiazepines)
Methadone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

faik EVALIN -- diazepam -- main ingredient benzodiazepines...

but it appears strange, that (at least one) experienced drug user would overdose with that, because valium makes at some (higher) dosage VERY tired, and thats not really wanted..?

'Mother's little helper' returns as drug-takers use more Valium as cheap alternative to heroin | Mail Online

A tranquilizer once known as ‘mother’s little helper’ is experiencing a new surge in use, according to a drug information charity.
DrugScope said diazepam, which is better known under its defunct brand name Valium, was previously known for ‘ anaesthetising a generation of British housewives’ in the 1960s and 70s.

Try spending the day with 4 or 5 classes of hyper active Thai children, especially when the Thai teacher does not show up. Mother's little helper is teacher's little helper so long as you do not take too much.

for some happy valium trip the scene doesnt look "normal"?

    no drinks, no food...

    both dont wear their watches?

i think i read, that head in the neck is never going to happen in death, but not sure if true... the head/body would fall to the side or to the front...

    for dinosaurs...
..that animals go into the “opisthotonic posture” shortly before they die (not after) because of muscle spasms resulting from severe malfunction of the central nervous system.

    ^Interesting....

I was talking about this exact subject with a freind recently. I assumed that if you took 10 or 15 valuim that it would kill you. He says not even close. 9999 doesn't think its that easy to OD on Valuim either.

    But that article says otherwise...
