Anonymous Corpse found in Farmer’s field near Sattahip

Sattahip: Unknown Local national murdered

Police were called to a field in the Sattahip district where the body of an unknown local national had been found. On closer inspection, the man is considered to have been murdered.

Dressed in sports attire, including a Liverpool football shirt, the man is described as being 30-40 years old and, in all probability, Thai.

Inspections of the areas showed no signs of a struggle and so Police are waiting for forensics reports to establish whether he had been killed elsewhere and the body later moved and dumped.

Local police and neighbours living close the the field failed to recognise the man and it may well be that he was killed by a gang. His body showed severe bruising which is thought to have occurred prior to his death.

A medical team was called in to ensure that, although dead, the body was preserved for later examination.

It is is the policy of 103 not to print graphic images of the dead.
