difficult to believe anything thai's put out
regarding taking care of tourists and thai people.

wiping out drug use in 3 years is a page taken from the thaksin era.
the man who said he could solve bangkok's traffic problems in 3 or 6 months.

when really all they wanted was to take care of their own selfish needs.
    and fok everybody else.

Other than the taking care of tourists & Thai folks -which Thai's do a fairly good job of- all of the rest that you say is hopfully true. You see, so long as the corruption stays among those at the top with inside pay-offs and such and does not interfere with the average Thai, freedom will remain intact. May those at the top grow rich with money intended for freedom robbing programs that will never be implemented. Let them buy expensive cars, houses and such with the money.
May the Cyclops eat you next to last.

Not to mention that Joe holiday maker does not want to be on TV going into a hotel with a tart half his age.

All CCTV shows is a picture of the back of a guy in a balaclava running away with your 42in TV. Or a guy in balaclava and a knife facing down Joe holiday maker.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

I personally feel that this train of thought is accommodated by those who have an agenda of the wrong kind.

Drug dealers, rapists, muggers , thieves and drug takers skinning up in public spring to mind.

Also the obese, old, discussing, smelly sex pat would object to being watched possibly because of the thought of embarrassment when being seen escorting some poor Issan bint back to there gaff for a session of debauchery for which they have payed the grand some of 1000 baht.

The fact remains that law abiding people have absolutely nothing to fear from security cameras and to put forward that the public " sacrifice freedom " is a screaming load of shit and not feasible.

Bring them on, the more the better.

Security cameras have bought many a dirty scum bag to justice with photographic evidence being king in the court room.
    Sorry, Terry, you're an idiot.

The whole point of NOT wanting such a gross invasion of privacy is because it is GUARANTEED to be abused.

Besides that Harry, if your not a slippery blighter you have no need to fear the cameras. Who gives a fok mate, theres that many dishonest bastards running around that theres no need what so ever to bother the general public.

Cant see why you guys wank off when confronted with the thought of more security on the streets.

Maybe you lot just like spanking the monkey.

Yes, let the powers that be keep offering you all these "protections". Then, when they start making more and more laws governing what you can and cannot do, they can catch you red handed breaking them, thanks to your idiocy in letting them walk all over your right to not be snooped on 24x7.

It must be nice and safe in that goody, goody world in which you live.

I prefer the Lenny Bruce approach:

"Take away the right to say "fuck" and you take away the right to say "fuck the government.""

    Dear Terry

we was offered these protections back in the early 90's.
ANPR was introduced only in the city of London to counter the IRA attacks.
look at the UK now , there's fking private debt collectors roaming the streets in their vans towing cars that have parking tickets (normal working class ppl not terrorists) n shit registered to them!!. randomly !

put cameras everywhere that support face recognition and everyones movements will be traced.
then what will be done with that information ?

for a start it could be used to market goods to you that they know u use.
I mean they could even start taxing u for how far u walk and what areas you visit.
combine that with RFID (that little thing in ur passport )(oyster card)(or even microdot RFID inserted to cloaths labels ,linked to ur card when purchased) and this world is gonna be governed like the film Demolition Man!!

yeah I've nothing to worry about but what is this world going to be for the next Gen??
    Fucked and Expensive!!

remember security comes in for security needs, then its miss used for gains.
how much of this extra security for the Olympics do u think will be de-commissioned once the athletes have left??

I apologize mate. I like most Aussies better than most poms. Aussies are on the whole more "real" than poms imo. Poms seem to have this annoying superioriy trait and are sneaky too. Still, I was sort of let down when you guys just handed in your guns over a zio false flag op.

Don't worry be happy? 0k, I'll roll with that. Future generations -especially those now in their teens and twenties- are facing something similar to "the dark ages" if things aren't turned around.

    Dear Terry

I think that you need to come to the U.S. where you will be really, really safe.
This vid sure makes me feel better about things. I have thought about it and have come to agree with you. There should be cameras everywhere, in our homes, cars -everywhere. They are keeping us safe and this vid proves it. The vid leads into a 2nd vid concerning new software to read fourum messages and identify criminals before they act. This is also a wonderful idea which I'm sure you will enjoy. Thank you for your wisdom mate.
