Suspected hit-man arrested by Pattaya Police



A man accused of killing another man who was himself accused of sexually assaulting his sister-in-law has been arrested by Pattaya Police.

On 16th June 2011 an arrest warrant was issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court for Khun Wiranit aged 38 and on Thursday Night he was arrested in Nakhon Rachasima Province in the North-East of Thailand.

On Friday afternoon he took part in a reconstruction of the alleged murder which occurred on 31st May 2011 in a rented room off the Thepprasit Road in Jomtien. It is believed that the sister of the assault victim, paid Khun Wiranit to kill her Husband, Khun Pichit aged 30.

He was found stabbed to death in his room and investigations soon revealed the identity of the alleged killer and of the sister of the victim, Khun Duangpon aged 29, who is still being sought by Police on a separate arrest warrant.
