As my wife I have said I will be fully supporting her.The recepit from cc towers vfs say's we should of had a answer on the 19/01/2011 but now the 30th no answer no phone call or e-mail explaining why.Anybody else had to wait this long everbody say's the second visa is easier to get any clues or answer appreciated

^Why not just give them a call and ask. Might be a very simple explanation.

Never had a problem with them and seemed to get easier each time.

Was your previous visa a single-use only ?
I thought they gave multiple-entry 3 month visas ? My fiancee got one and went to Oz twice in 6 months, but then she's a Thai government teacher.

i currently have the ombudsman investigating diac and in paticular VFS the thai company that is contracted by aust gov to process visas.
    they are totally incompent.
i had to ring here in aust to get diac to email them to ask why they were not answering phone.
get mail back sorry busy we get to all calls took 5 days to get phone call if you call early 9.15 some times when they are having coffe they actually answer the phone.
it has taken 8 months to get close to wife and daughter to migrate to aust.
only then do they ask for federal police check which should have been requested on day 1 as under 18 daughter involved so another 4 week delay.
and wife has already had 3 trips to aust and i have been legally married to her for 7 years.
i have had nothing but drame with VFS
    lots of luck with them

Ding dong! You are not wrong!

My son, back in Oz for about six months has been trying to get a visa (fiancee?) for his wife and the new born for that length of time. His mother was dying of cancer, terminal and in last stages, these pricks proceeded at snail's pace and the bullshit they have endured is unimaginable. The latest was that they wanted a police check on him (?) Oz by birth and residence and citizenship. He asked why? They said he had been residing in LOS for longer than a year. He pointed out that the "year" they relied on was in fact two periods separated by a month or so. "No matter. It all adds up to a year so you must provide a police report on YOU from the police in Oz." WTF! Angling for a bribe? The ombudsman should go through that organisation with a fine tooth comb. Corrupt? Incomptetent? Or both?

I havn't had any incompetency, just a fvcking hassle and extra time when dealing with VFS.

It was always straight forward when dealing with the embassy directly, now they have brought these clowns in, times 2 x as long.
We have clowns of our own, why outsource to an even bigger bunch of dickwads.

    all well

We phoned embassy told to ring back in two day's.Also sent e-mail stating all and again saying I support my WIFE on our visit.Low and behold got an e-mail back today stating they had been trying to ring my wife (even though my wife has not let that phone out of her sight for three weeks) and vfs was able sms her that her application had gone to the embassy.Seeing that in my e-mail I said I will support her (even though I said that in a statment that I signed and put in with wife's application) her visa is now granted. I dont know what happened maybe application lost in a mountain of paper work, maybe sitting on someones desk ignored dont know, just relived now is granted.Thak you members for your time and input.Except the dickhead whinging about toyota not fixing his flat tyer to you get a life and I hope the other three blow out
