Is there anyway that once a thirty day extension expires it can be extended by 3 or 4 days without leaving Bangkok?

What if some kind of minor emergency meant that the person wanted to 'buy' a couple of extra days out of his visa but didn't want to overstay?

I think for 1900THB you can extend it for 7 days, but you will need a reason.

Overstay not really a good idea when I will shortly be applying for a Non Imm B, it won't be in my favour. I think I can get a 7 day extension but it's 1,900 baht - the same price I'd pay for 60 days in Laos which is rediculous.

Ah, well the reason is that the new girl in my life is returning from a stressful business trip in Japan after ten days and she asked if there was anyway I could wait a couple of days for her to return and we could go together, she could do with a holiday and I'd like nothing more than to take her to Vientiene - even if she is a bit out of my league.

But maybe it would be better to say that I have tonsilitis.

Perhaps it would be better to just do a one day Cambodia visa run and do a holiday to Laos after 29 days. Even if I did get 60 days in Laos as planned and then went again on a holiday after a couple of weeks it would be a waste of a visa.

If I do that the worst that can happen is that I don't get my (already paid for) train ticket to Nong Khai refunded.

My recollection is you can do a 30 day extention and then up to a week more but the money is stiff.

I rang the train station and they have said I can get a refund, If I can go to Laos I see no reason why I can't go to Cambodia - I rang Jacks Golf and they said all was fine and dandy, and the gorgous 29yr old busines woman I thought I had no chance with will be pleased that we can go on a romantic holiday in about 4 weeks, I guess i'll need to grow up before she finds out too much about me.

I don't need Dr Knobheads help with anything, I can do it myself - it's just that phone calls were faster than Teak Door and I'm an impatient bastard.

The fee is an administrative fee, same work for them , same papers to shuffle.
Has nothing to do with how many days you get.

I remember when I was on a tourist visa 60 days I went to Suan Plu and got an extra 30 days, when this expired I went to Nong Khai to cross to Laos but the border was closed because of ASEAN or something. I thought I was scuppered and went to Immigration in Nong Khai, for 1900 bht they gave me 7 days with which I then crossed the border into Cambodia a few days later.

try DVT deep-venous thrombosis the airlines will not accept people who suffer with it or getting treatment for it.

^^ I have been to the hospital this morning, I could barely breathe at 5am this morning let alone swallow food or even my own saliva without excruciating pain. Trust me, it's a genuine question and if I get a reply on this page then I don't need to start a thread on it.

Get regular massage and wiggle your toes, garlic capsules may also help and I wouldn't mention it to the airline.
