Thai Consulate(s) in Lao closure dates (so far) for Oct

Heads up anyone fixin' to use the Thai consulate in Savannakhet for visas this month. FWIW: it's the same dates in Vientiane as well.

(I know it doesn't show the 26th as a day they're closed and right now that's just an in-country holiday) BUT if I was a betting man I'd bet they'll announce it shortly for both Vientiane and Savannakhet. (If when they do I'll post back)

Here's the signage posted stating the days they're closed.

    Indeed.
Officially, might be considered three days. 24th through the 26th.

They didn't forget the 26th, you posting pundits.

It's an IN-COUNTRY holiday only right now and NO announcements have been put up on consulates websites or in any signage either.

Now could it become a holiday, yep, BUT was it a holiday last week when this picture was taken nope, not at all.

Now a semi-intelligent person might come to the conclusion that no matter what's posted the 23rd to the 27th might not be the best days to run for a visa at ANY thai consulate.
