Why has TEFLWatch closed down?

My guess...pathetic plea for attention.

Well if someone did hack it it just goes to show that Greg protecting his users is a fallacy, the hacker would have all their details now, although I got to go for the "Pathetic Plea for Attention - i.e. Forum Suicide" choice.

Yeah but what details do forums actually hold, just IP and e-mail addresses ain't it??

Because it has become pretty obvious that he is looking to make money out of the site. How can he claim to be on the side of people who use the site and yet the same time be making money out of them?

Well summed up. But in this case I don't really think it was about money for Greg, but for the attention the site gave him personally. People have stopped giving him the attention he craves so he's closed down.

The whole site has become a tool of manipulation and egotistical exhibitionism. I'm glad the forums are shut, and I hope the whole site goes away too. The so-called "information" on the site is biased, unfounded and often malicious. The admin of TW is a proper Carey Hunt!!!

I doubt Wangsuda would know...from my experience Greg usually doesn't confide in his mods about his actions. Its a shame though all Wangsudas hard work is for nought.
