I love the way that whenever there is a political scandal, everyone appends "gate" to the subject.
Let's not forget the original "Gate" with a capital G and which party was responsible

i look forward to a scandal that somehow involves a gate company.

and btw, this 'scandal' is even more manufactured than 'fast and furious'....and truth be told, no one except for the foxbots cares about this....and even they're struggling to get worked up about it

Who does one vote for in the USA if you are fiscally conservative, yet, socially liberal?
    Are these the "swing voters"?

Heh...these people think the rest of the public is as stupid as they are?:

Obama Spokesman on Solyndra: ‘Widely Praised as Successful and Innovative.’

Also bankrupt, and more or less just a scam, eh?

In 2010 Obama Praised Success of Solar Giant Amonix… This Week It Went Bust

In July 2010 Barack Obama praised the success of Amonix solar manufacturing plant.
The Obama Administration dumped more than $20 million in federal tax credits and grants on the green energy giant.

The Amonix solar manufacturing plant in North Las Vegas, subsidized by more than $20 million in federal tax credits and grants has closed its 214,000-square-foot facility about a year after it opened.
Officials at Amonix headquarters in Seal Beach, Calif., have not responded to repeated calls for comment this week, but the company began selling equipment, from automated tooling systems to robotic welding cells, in an online auction Wednesday.
A designer and manufacturer of concentrated photovoltaic solar power systems, Amonix received $6 million in federal tax credits for the North Las Vegas plant and a $15.6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy in 2007 for research and development.
Rene Kenerly, a former material and supply manager at Amonix, said the plant has been idle since May 1, when he was laid off. At its peak, the plant had about 700 employees working three shifts a day to produce solar panels for a utility in Amarosa, Colo., he said.
Just last week David G. Frantz, Acting Executive Director of the Loan Program Office for the U.S. Department of Energy, called the DOE Loan Guarantee program an “enormous success.” With the demise of Amonix there have now been 20 clean energy companies supported by President Obama’s stimulus that are failing or have filed for bankruptcy costing billions of dollars.

Do you also agree that American taxpayers were stuck with the bill when Bain Capital looted pension funds?

Straw man argument. We're not talking about Bain here but Obama's failed Green Energy boondoggles.

Besides, was Romney at the helm when Bain supposedly looted their pension funds? Mebe it were one of them heavy contributors to Obama's campaign that authorized that action?

Libertarian. However, because the 2-party system is so entrenched, libertarians have to run as Republicans if they want to have any chance of getting elected. Doesn't generally work.

Too bad Libs, this Obama Scandal won't go away any time soon. Taxpayers to recover only $24 million from Solyndra.

“In a little-noticed move, Solyndra LLC officially released it bankruptcy plan this week. The official word from it is that taxpayers will recover only $24 million of the about $527 million that the failed solar panel company drew from its $535 million federal loan guarantee, according to a report from Dow Jones newswire. The main private equity firm here is Argonaut Ventures. This company was put ahead of US taxpayers in recovering funds in the event of a bankruptcy in direct violation of standard Energy Department policy, a fact that administration officials subsequently scrambled to justify. Argonaut is the investment arm of the George Kaiser Family Foundation. Despite being called a foundation, GKFF is not a nonprofit in the conventional understanding of the term, but an exotic variation that allows the wealthy to park their assets tax-free. The foundation’s namesake is a major fundraiser of President Obama’s. He was often a guest in the White House and even discussed Solyndra with officials there."

The corruption goes unbounded in the Obama White House...

You're on point here Boon. People fail to realize that some Bain people are Democrats and Obama supporters.
