Thanks for posting the book you get your "knowledge" from.

But you are partially right. There are some places on the planet that will benefit from more rain and a warmer climate as long as they are well above sea level.

The trouble is they are going to be full of New Yorkers, Bangladeshis and Africans who've had to move because they can't afford houseboats.
