Die is not the issue. Technology and civilization may disappear though. And that would mean 99% will die, but 1% will survive.

So long as most of the survivors were from the more inteligent races, mankind ,technology etc would be ok .
Anyway even the most gay alarmists , forsee the worst case senario played out over many decades not weeks .

Bring it on I say ,a warmer Earth with less people is the way forward.
