it's interesting to note that the only posts by sk, eliminator, earl, boon mee, etc.... are to tell me that they know i don't care, and to post photos of the people jumping to their death.

but considering the massive failure of the republican party on every issue related to 9/11, i suppose their hiding is somewhat understandable.

It's a polarizing political issue.

Actually, our discussion really are not about 9/11, but our own polarized political views on foreign policy in particular.

No one is going to change each other's mind.

Right now, Sept. 11th is the big issue for the up coming election in 6 weeks. The politicians are shameless.

Bin Laden the master manipulator of American emotions via the media made a very big mistake. 911 is too near the date of our elections. I'm on record saying the repubs will maintain the House and the Senate. A Democrat hasn't lost the women's vote since God knows when and Kerry lost it. Why? Not sure the pic posters have it right...we should be viewing 9/11/2001 street celebrations in Arab/Muslim towns and cities around the world.

This repugnance to anything remotely decent, is as important for people everywhere to remember as images of those taking their chances from the 81st floor.

I'm sure there were others celebrating; only they weren't willing to do it openly. I'm not so sure it's any more repugnant than redneck Americans running around proclaiming that they want to go kill towelheads, niggers, and spics.

the families of those who died on 9/11 at the very least deserve a memorial......why can't the republican congress, president, governor, and mayor make it happen 5 FULL YEARS LATER? and how would you recommend that i expedite the process?
