The Hamas and Hezbollah kidnappings were NOT Jihadist.

The kidnappings were political, to barter trades with 9,000+ people being held by the Israelis without charge or trial.

You must differentiate between the "Jihadists" that kidnapped Pearle, Berg, and Johnson, and the political kidnappings of Hamas and Hezbollah. These political kidnapping have gone on for years, and they often trade.
