I read his book "And the Truth shall set you Free'. I'm afraid once he started saying that our financial masters were extra terrestrial Reptilians (and that they even looked like reptiles) I somewhat switched off. So the truth did not set me free.

It's a fun read though- everythings in there, down to CIA mind control experiments- which apparently includes the Jonestown massacre, and human sacrifice. And reptiles.

What's worse, though -- the nut or the nuts who follow him, hailing him as some sort of 'wise man'?

Historically, eccentrics are usually looked upon as mad hens - as they threaten and counter the conventional establishment. The stimulus {knowledge} that we have gathered makes up only 5% of total absobtion. And the other 95%.....??

Here are a couple more interviews. I don't really have an opinion on him myself, aside from the knee-jerk reaction that anyone who believes this shit must be crazy. I think I've heard him interviewed on the radio previously, maybe Coast to Coast AM, and he does present his side of things quite well. I can't say I believe Hillary Clinton is a reptilian being, but I do find Icke interesting.

He should have his own show on the Faux News network... He'd fit right in with the likes of Glenn Beck...

I watched the first ten minutes. His "change" came when voices told him that he was the Son of God. I'm not a psychiatrist but that's got to be a fairly clear indicator that he's got serious problems. What's really sad is the interview on Wogan (which must, at the time, have had pretty healthy viewing figures) with Icke, dressed in turqoise track suit, wheeled out so the nation could laugh at a man in the middle of a psychotic episode. Shameful.

He used to be a good footie goalkeeper back in the day, and a decent football tv pundit, too.

He played goalkeeper most notably for Coventry City and Hereford FC, where he was renowned as a fearless keeper, not afraid to dive in at an approaching forward's feet or where the boots were flying...

    Alas,..

That's an understatement. The bloke is fascinating, in a complete fucking nutjob kind of way. Apparently the TV program 'V' was inspired by his conspiracy theories, and he believes that monarchies and the like worldwide are in fact lizard people from another dimension.

Definitely a sandwich short that one.

Wouldn't it be funny if he was right..

What amuses me is that I'd lump his insane ramblings into the same category as any "prophet". Cults and religious nutjobs are everywhere these days it seems. They're ten a penny.

It's all down to an excess of Dopamine...all of it.

A little more and he'd be declared schizophrenic.

An alternative viewpoint is that he's a fucking genius and he's pulling a master scam and making a buttload of money out of the weak and feeble. Kind of like what Ron Hubbard did with scientology....easy money...
"Slavery is the daughter of darkness; an ignorant people is the blind instrument of its own destruction; ambition and intrigue take advantage of the credulity and inexperience of men who have no political, economic or civil knowledge. They mistake pure illusion for reality, license for freedom, treason for patriotism, vengeance for justice."-Simón Bolívar

Faux News was on in a restaurant I went to the other day. The idiot kept on going on about communists as if he was still stuck in the well of paranoia that was 1960s America. I can't believe anyone with more than one brain cell could possible watch that shit.

David Icke is a well documented schizophrenic. According to his world view, shape-shifting lizard people run our world. Among them, George Bush, Queen Elizabeth etc.
Giving credence to anything this man says is an insult to intelligence.

I've never heard it. Seriously, is this true?

    TIA.

    It's just an opinion.

Probably an accurate one, but just opinion.

Regardless, a diagnosis would be confidential....only the man himself could reveal such a thing.

Or he could be a genius..........?
