Obama did not win the election because of the Black vote only. He won because of the guilt-factor that was pushed on the voters by the media and the groups like ACORN and others of that ilk. Many comments made in Atlanta area blogs and media outlets attest to this fact. Comments like,"Now, we don't owe them anything. We voted their Man in." And, to many Blacks in the Atlanta area, it was a gateway to demanding entitlements they felt they are "owed". Yes, racism is alive and well in the USA and we are seeing it first-hand here. Were White groups meeting and rallying, it would be called racist. With the Blacks doing so, it is called progressive.......racism is alive and well.

The cries of "racism" emmanating from some of the White members of this forum are laughable. Racism!? They don't even know the meaning of the word much less have actually suffered under it.

It's only within living memory that the Civil Rights Act was passed. There is in fact people alive today that could be posting on this forum that were subjected to segregation and limited/restricted rights purely because of the colour of their skin. And the passing of that Act was no magic bullet or pancea for racism - it's still institutionalised, alive and well in the hearts and minds of many (as is displayed without compunction on this forum on a daily basis).

And now there's a Black President and all of a sudden the Chicken Little's are running around yelling "Racism! Racism!". And what have they suffered: deprived of liberty or rights; forced to use inferior services; denied the ability to vote; considered as property; harrassed by the Police... Anything?? No.

What a joke. The more I read from some posters on here the more proud and thankful I become of my mixed-race heritage and, specifically, that part of me that's not White.

With all the calls of racism from Van Jones, ACORN and Jimmy Carter, and the mainstream media jumping in head first, it looks like the left is off and running with something, anything, to divert people's attention from Obama's policies, spending sprees and moves to alienate allies while sucking up to America's foes.
