Obama's place of birth has already been corroborated. But this fringe group is still getting attention. I think these people are very strange, and they have an agenda. Definitely fringe.

Bill Clinton had the Vince Foster "murder." George W. Bush had 9/11 Truth. And the new administration has brought with it a new culture of conspiracy: The Birthers.

Out of the gaze of the mainstream and even the conservative media is a flourishing culture of advocates, theorists and lawyers, all devoted to proving that Barack Obama isn't eligible to be president of the United States. Viewed as irrelevant by the White House, and as embarrassing by much of the Republican Party, the subculture still thrives from the conservative website WorldNetDaily, which claims that some 300,000 people have signed a petition demanding more information on Obama's birth, to Cullman, Alabama, where Sen. Richard Shelby took a question on the subject at a town hall meeting last week.

Their confinement to the fringe hasn't cooled the passion of believers; the obscure New York preacher James Manning turned up at a National Press Club session in December to declare the president "the most notorious criminal in the history not just of America, but of this entire planet."

Conservatives see that hazard.

The conservative talk show host Michael Medved recently referred to the movement's leaders as "crazy, nutburger, demagogue, money-hungry, exploitative, irresponsible, filthy conservative imposters" who are "the worst enemy of the conservative movement."

"It makes us look weird. It makes us look crazy. It makes us look demented. It makes us look sick, troubled, and not suitable for civilized company," he mourned.

And yet apparently a legitimate U.S. birth cert has yet to be produced.
If it exists, produce it and shut them up.
If it doesn't he has no legal right to be president.
Seems pretty clear to me.

A problem with the two-party system that exists in the states. All left-winged nutters fall under the Democreat party and all right-winged nutter fall under the Republican party.

I have 4 different ones in my trash that are all different but all came from the Health Dept. of the state of Oregon at different time over the years,
First one I got is an old photocopy of the origional that is not as big as a A4 printer paper and it is kinda crinkley and is black with white writing and printing on it and pobly 70 years old, and the ones sence the 50's that I have got are all different looking but do have the same data actually.

these birthers are almost as humorous as the teabaggers.

You can buy one from a dozen dealers in San Ysidro or the shopping mall parking lots in Chula Vista and not only get a certified Birth Cert, but a real California drivers license and a SSA card to match that is Hacked into the computer systems of both agencys.
Not real cheap, but well worth the money if ya got it, but if not you will have to make do without the Hacker backup.

Heh...like been said, you can generate one of these on a home PC with a laser printer. Got a like link for this genuine, bona-fied, original birth cert, M/M?

If he wasn't born in the US then why doesn't somebody produce some sort of document showing where he really was born ? Why do these freakshows get away with always putting the burden of proof on the accused ?

Last I checked, the is no fence on the southern border and the illegals keep pouring through... Once here, they tax the health care and social services programs to the point where they become insolvent... But of course you knew this already, right??? right???
