    Swine Flu. Depopulation?

    Swine Flu: What I Believe
Catherine, Daily Musings, Financial Permaculture and News & Commentary, July 22, 2009 at 10:07 am

I believe one of the goals of the swine flu vaccine is depopulation. Perhaps it is the goal of a swine flu epidemic as well, whether bio-warfare or hype around a flu season.

These days, I keep remembering my sense of urgency leaving the Bush Administration in 1991. We had to do something to turn around the economy and gather real assets behind retirement plans and the social safety net. If not, Americans could find themselves deeply out on a limb. I felt my family and friends were in danger. They did not share my concern. They had a deep faith in the system.

As my efforts to find ways of reengineering government investment in communities failed to win political support, Washington and Wall Street moved forward with a debt bubble and globalization that was horrifying in its implications for humanity.

Overwhelmed by what was happening, I estimated the end result. My simple calculations guessed that we were going to achieve economic sustainability on Earth by depopulating down to a population of approximately 500 million people from our then current global population of 6 billion. I was a portfolio strategist used to looking at numbers from a very high level. Those around me could not fathom how all the different threads I was integrating could lead to such a conclusion. To me, we had to have radical change in how we governed resources or depopulate. It was a mathematical result.

A year later, in 1999, a very capable investment and portfolio strategist asked me if he could come have a private lunch with me in Washington. We sat in a posh restaurant across from the Capitol. He said quietly that he had calculated out where the derivatives and debt bubble combined with globalization were going. The only logical conclusion he could reach was that significant depopulation was going to occur. He said his estimates led to an approximate population of 500 million. I said very quietly, “that’s my estimate too.” I will never forget the look of sadness that crossed his face. I was amazed to find someone else who understood.

It turns out that we were not alone. Sir James Goldsmith had warned of the consequences of GATT in 1994. He described the process under way, involving the loss of land and livelihood for 3 billion people, “…This is the establishment against the rest of society.” Voices were rising around the planet as hardships exploded from global economic warfare and industrialization of agriculture.

Nope - the sole purpose of the virus is simply to survive. In order to do that it must seek out new hosts before the current host dies or develops immunity. The longer the host remains infected, the more time the virus has to spread. Killing the host is not an objective in itself, in fact it is counter-productive to the virus need to spread. This is why Ebola outbreaks are short - the Ebola virus kills it victims so fast that the epidemics are short-lived, simply because most people who get it die before they have a chance to infect others.

A virus is a extremely primitive form of life (one could even argue that it does not even qualify as "life") and as such does not possess conscience, objectives or desires to do anything whatsoever. It simply "is". The reason it is around is purely the fact that it can multiply. To credit it with motives as such is just ludicrous.
Any error in tact, fact or spelling is purely due to transmissional errors...

The depopulation point is valid and true. Swine flu is not the virus that will do this though. Something else then....

Don't you just LOVE reading up on uninformed, uneducated people? (including those who mindlessly copy and paste their works, thinking it gospel).

C'mon, it's entertainment - they were placed on this world to entertain us .

Yes - the sun burning out, expanding and engulfing the Earth will manage to do this -- in about 6 billion years.

The only problem is that they demand equal rights, and then make a mess of things when they start voting, having children (who will most likely grow up equally uninformed), and even expect to be taken seriously.

It would be amusing if there weren't so many of them.

there is a pretty good book - Plants that changed the world.

makes some interesting statements in it.

The discovery of quinine and the subsequent synthesis of it, is responsible for the dense population in India. It's estimated that if quinine hadn't been discovered and produced in such a way that the current population of India would be around 100million.

I still think that AIDS is here to reduce the population of the world. It effects more parts of the world where people aren't able to sustain a decent level of living and keeps their populations down.

Why the hell we are spending all this money researching a self inflicted disease is a mystery.

Just as syphilis, cholera, typhoid, measles, tetanus, polio, etc were?

HIV/AIDS just doesn't kill fast enough - especially now that there are medicine available to keep it in check. My guess is that HIV will eventually (perhaps through natural selection) become like herpes - incurable, but rarely fatal.

In my opinion, there is only one solution short of total war that can reduce the population on earth - education and an end to povery.

I know this type of stuff is to much for some of you to give an opinion on; the childrens area is in 'Thai girls knickers' and the like. You could just ignore the thread if it's not of interest, but I guess it's just to difficult for you not to leave childish responses.

But regardless and likewise Daffy, you also amuse me with your arrogance, ignorance and internet rhetoric and the constant the chip on your shoulder. You're probably the typical gutless a-hole who can barely get two words out in the real world. I've known many like you.

Your childishness and petiness shows when you direct your gripe towards me, rather than the opinion of the subject, regardless of whether I share the views of the news or not.

Have I really got to you Daffy? Come on now, this is just the net, a place to let go. You'll realise someday I'm sure.

How old are you by the way?

I had a quick look at the full text. I quote,

That’s what I believe. I am not an expert. I have no case worth presenting in a court of law. There are hundreds of hours of research on the swine flu and related vaccines that I have not done and I am not going to do. It is just what I believe
She outlines a scenario which is, at a pinch and if you're very, very, very generous, within the realms of logical possibility (the best that could be said for it is that it's not logically self-defeating). She concludes therefore, with absolutely no evidence to support it, that this is the case. It's the arc of insanity which so many conspiracy theories trace. It's fucking ridiculous. But what's even more ridiculous is that thousands of people lap this shit up. For fuck's sake, if the fact that the world is overpopulated is sufficient reason to believe that the flu vaccine is going to kill you, what are you not going to believe? Your credulity must be set so low that I can't see how you can or could possibly distinguish between fairy tales, schizophrenic delusion, and reality.

Yep. We just need more droughts, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and that kinda stuff to keep the world pop down. Fek global warming. Everyone should drive a hummer and keep the process going.
As an aside, will that comet bash on Jupiter cause our solar system to go a bit wobbly?

The world would be better off with a lot less humans. If war or nature reduces the world population, the loss of human lives will be a benefit to all species including humans. Kill em all !
