^ i don't doubt for a second that they personally identify with him, embrace his ideology and sympathize with him because he's in custody.

TD's resident white nationalists will never publicly admit this, of course....but one just has to look at their virulent, islamophobic, anti-immigrant posts on TD....it's essentially the same as his twisted, racist 'manifesto'.

On July 1 and 2, 2015, Boko Haram militants attacked multiple mosques. Forty-eight men and boys were killed on Jul 1st at a mosque in Kukawa, Nigeria. Ninety-seven others, mostly men, were killed in numerous mosques on the 2nd, with a number of women and young girls killed in their homes.

It was news for a few days. Now nobody cares, nobody remembers, most people think Bobo Haram is a jazzercize move or a pineapple drink.

    This too shall pass.

    ^^It is.

They're from the same cloth, you only need to see the 'it's the Muslims fault for being Muslim' type comments. The only appreciable difference between the TD racists and this racist is that he actually picked-up a gun. He is them.

Ah don't worry, they is all pooves. They post youtube videos of angry old white bitches ranting at immigrants and muslims, and say "That's what I'd do", when the reality is they wouldn't dare say these things in public for fear of getting a congratulatory slap in the kisser.

You are right, non-Muslims see it as a Muslim problem until it lands on their doorstep. Islamic State have attacked quite a few Shi'a mosques.

But what he's implying is of course that the increased focus on it when a white man is the perpetrator is....RACIST!!!

All rather ironic of course. Also it's ridiculous because what's really happening is that when it's Africans being killed by Africans then, as you say, it doesn't matter so much to a western audience.

It's 1000x worse because the killer was a different race than the kill-es.

If the mosque killer was Boko Harem, killing other African blacks, there's no traction. There's no one shrieking RACIST, so the slaughter of 145 goes largely un-noticed.

It's because it's the developed world and there is the implication that we are supposed to be, you know "developed".

The point is that people like this retarded looney, despite growing up in a civilised society (although he may have been fiddled with by priests or something) and having the benefit of a reasonable education, still have the same level of intelligence as an uneducated camel herder in Yemen.

^^ If it was a black guy shootin up other black guys, dodgy panty-wearing creepy dude, you'd be back chatting with boiled-chicken teen, and not parading around a Thai-centric forum because you've somehow been violated.

The Florida man accused of sending mail bombs to CNN offices and prominent Democrats pleaded guilty on Thursday in Manhattan federal court to 65 felony counts, including using weapons of mass destruction in an attempted domestic terrorist attack.

Cesar Sayoc, 57, admitted in court to having mailed 16 explosive devices to a variety of officials -- primarily Democrats, including former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and Sens. Cory Booker and Kamala Harris; and major Democratic donors, including George Soros and Tom Steyer -- and to CNN's offices in October 2018.

New York man arrested for death threats against Rep Ilhan Omar federal officials said

A New York man is in custody after federal authorities allege he made death threats against Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. Patrick W. Carlineo, 55, of Addison, was arrested Friday morning and charged by criminal complaint with threatening to assault and murder a United States official.

Carlineo threatened to kill Omar, a Democrat, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Brett A. Harvey, who is prosecuting the case.

On March 21, a staff member in Omar's office received a phone call around 12:20 p.m., the criminal complaint stated.

During the call, an individual, eventually identified as Carlineo, allegedly stated to the staff member, "Do you work for the Muslim Brotherhood? Why are you working for her, she's an (expletive) terrorist. I’ll put a bullet in her (expletive) skull."

After receiving the call, Omar's office referred the threat to the United States Capitol Police, which began an investigation in coordination with the FBI.

Omar is a freshman representative who was elected to the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm election and one of three members of Congress who are Muslim.

Omar faced backlash in recent months for tweets and comments she made that critics say played into enduring anti-Semitic stereotypes.

Carlineo provided a name and phone number to Omar's staff member, and authorities were able to trace the phone number to an Addison address.

He was questioned March 29 by FBI agents at his residence in Steuben County, according to the criminal complaint.

Carlineo told the agents he is a patriot, that he loves President Donald Trump and hates radical Muslims in government, the complaint stated.

He also told agents he didn't remember exactly what he said to Omar's staffer but admitted it might have been close to what her office reported to authorities.

When asked if there were any weapons in the residence, Carlineo confirmed there was a shotgun and a .22-caliber rifle, according to the complaint.

Carlineo made an initial appearance Friday afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Marian W. Payson and is being held pending a detention hearing at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Leader of militia detaining migrants allegedly said group trained to assassinate Soros, Clinton, Obama, complaint says

A leader of a New Mexico militia that has been detaining migrant families at the U.S.-Mexico border said that the group was “training to assassinate George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama,” according to an FBI agent's sworn deposition describing reports phoned into the agency's public tip line.

Larry Mitchell Hopkins, 69, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition and made an initial appearance in federal court in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on the charge Monday.

Hopkins remains in custody pending a preliminary hearing and a detention hearing April 29 in Albuquerque, according to the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Mexico.

Hopkins, who also goes by the alias Johnny Horton Jr., has been described as the “commander” of the United Constitutional Patriots, a militia group that has recently been detaining asylum-seeking families at the southern border, drawing outcry from local politicians and activists.

In an affidavit filed Saturday in support of Hopkins' arrest, the FBI agent said that in October 2017, the agency's public access line received reports of “alleged militia extremist activity” in Flora Vista, New Mexico, based out of Hopkins’ home, with the group being supported by about 20 members who were “armed with AK-47 rifles and other firearms.”

"Hopkins also allegedly made the statement that the United Constitutional Patriots were training to assassinate George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama, because of these individuals' support of Antifa,” the complaint said, referring to so-called anti-fascist activists.

It was not clear when and to whom Hopkins made these statements. Hopkins' attorney, Kelly O’Connell, said his client denies the allegations.

"He says that is categorically false that that's what they were doing," O'Connell said. "There was no plan to do any of that."

In late November of 2017, two FBI special agents went to Hopkins’ residence, were invited in and led to a room known as his “office,” where they observed about “10 firearms leaning against a wall in a closet in plain view,” according to the complaint.

When asked who the firearms belonged to, Hopkins said all the firearms in the home were owned by Fay Sanders Murphy, who lives at the residence and was described as his “common law wife,” according to the complaint.

Hopkins also disclosed to the agents that there were additional weapons in the home, including a shotgun, a handgun in the bedroom and another handgun in the kitchen, according to the complaint.

Both Hopkins and Murphy gave the agents consent to search the residence, the complaint said, and showed them the location of the other firearms.

He walked one agent to the kitchen and brought a black tactical vest and said, “that’s my black right there and it is loaded,” according to the complaint. The agents recovered a loaded firearm from a holster attached to the vest, the complaint said.

In the master bedroom, Hopkins directed an agent to a loaded Blackhawk 12-gauge shotgun and said, “it is legal, actually that shotgun was given to my wife from one of my men,” the complaint said.

The special agent who wrote the complaint said that after searching the residence, he discovered Hopkins had prior felony convictions.

Hopkins' lawyer questioned why his client was arrested Saturday, when the search of his property happened in 2017.

"If it was that outrageous of a crime, why not lock him up right then?" O'Connell said, adding he questioned why "this charge suddenly comes up" while Hopkins was in the public eye over the debate regarding the actions of the United Constitutional Patriots at the border.

In 1996, Hopkins was convicted of possession of a loaded firearm and was sentenced to state prison in Michigan for 16 months minimum to two years maximum, according to the complaint.

In 2006, he was convicted of felony possession of a weapon in Oregon and sentenced to 40 days in jail and 36 months of probation, the complaint said.

At the same time, Hopkins was also convicted of criminal impersonation of a peace officer and sentenced to 20 days in jail and 24 months of probation, the complaint said.

State records confirm Hopkins’ convictions described in the complaint.

Court records show a warrant for Hopkins’ arrest was issued last week.

If convicted, he faces a maximum statutory penalty of 10 years in prison, according to the FBI statement.

The American Civil Liberties Union and New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham have blasted the United Constitutional Patriots for stopping migrants at the border until immigration authorities can apprehend them in recent months.

Customs and Border Protection has said it “does not endorse private groups or organizations taking enforcement matters into their own hands.”

Police examine motive of man accused of deadly California synagogue attack

    More trumpanzee scum...

The gunman walked into the Chabad of Poway in suburban San Diego on Saturday and killed one woman and wounded three other people inside, using an assault-style rifle, police said.

The Poway mayor over the weekend called the shooting a hate crime. The accused gunman, John T. Earnest, appears to be the author of an online manifesto who claimed to have previously set fire to a mosque and drawn inspiration from last month’s mass shooting at two mosques in New Zealand that killed 50 people.

Saturday’s bloodshed in Poway came at the end of the week-long Jewish holiday of Passover and unfolded six months to the day after 11 worshippers were killed by a gunman who stormed the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh.

Earnest, who has been held without bail, is scheduled to appear in a San Diego court on Wednesday to face a charge of murder and three counts of attempted murder, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department website.

The gunman is believed to have carried out the shooting without support from anyone else, San Diego Sheriff Bill Gore said in a statement on Sunday.

“We are continuing to explore every investigative avenue to bring out all the facts in this case,” Gore said.

Earnest fled in a car as an off-duty U.S. Border Patrol agent, who had been at the synagogue, fired at his vehicle. The teenager later called police to surrender.

Authorities are investigating Earnest’s possible involvement in the March 24 pre-dawn arson fire at the Islamic Center of Escondido, a town about 15 miles (24 km) north of Poway, Gore said.

The slain victim, Lori Kaye, was a founding member of the Chabad of Poway congregation, Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, who was among the three wounded victims, told reporters.

Another survivor, Israel Dahan, whose 8-year-old daughter was wounded, told Israel Radio on Sunday that the attacker’s gun jammed.

Worshipper Oscar Stewart, 51, rushed the gunman and chased him outside before another person, the off duty Border Patrol agent, opened fire, Gore said.

Stewart is a U.S. Army veteran and works as an electrician, the Los Angeles Times reported.

    An interesting read.

Conservatives Are In Denial About White Supremacy

Recognizing the role of ideology in attacks like the Poway synagogue shooting would require them to grapple with their own complicity.

At least authorities are going after people making threats on social media.

Toledo man charged in federal court for Ocasio-Cortez threat

A Toledo man was charged in federal court Friday for making threats against U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) and illegally possessing ammunition.

Timothy J. Ireland, Jr., 41, was charged in U.S. District Court in Toledo with being a felon in possession of a firearm, being a fugitive in possession of a firearm, and making interstate threats.

The count of threatening comes with a maximum sentence of five years in prison, while the two firearms charges each carry a maximum 10-year sentence.

The United States Capitol Police received information on July 23 that threatening statements were posted on Facebook, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case. The statements were perceived to be threats against Ms. Ocasio-Cortez.

The statement was made from a Facebook page whose listed user was Tim Ireland of Toledo, according to the complaint. U.S. Capitol Police officers stated in the complaint that Ireland admitted in a call with them on Aug. 2 to making the statement and that “he was very proud of that post he made.” He also said he has firearms and always carries them concealed, according to the complaint.

Ireland’s attorney, Ryan Parker, declined to comment about his client’s employer. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez’s office also declined to comment.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is one of four progressive lawmakers known as the “Squad.” The group includes Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlalib, Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, and Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar. The four are heralded in liberal circles but have faced backlash from the right, including from President Donald Trump, who wrote in a tweet last month that the four U.S. citizens should “go back” to their “broken and crime infested” countries.

A criminal history check revealed Ireland had outstanding warrants for felony failure to appear in court in Sarasota County, Fla., and a misdemeanor failure to appear related to a marijuana possession charge in Cook County, Ga., officials said. Further review revealed Ireland had been convicted in 1996 in Sarasota County of four felony counts of dealing in stolen property.

USCP and ATF agents searched Ireland’s residence at 234 Kosciusko St. on Aug. 8. He was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant in Florida. A search revealed three rounds of .32-caliber ammunition and four rounds of .45-caliber ammunition.
