I had a holiday once in (what was then) Czechoslovakia and Poland, and a mate and I took a day trip to the Polish town of Oświęcim and its nearby camp. It was easily the most moving and horrifying day of my life - he scale of the camp was vast and industrial - literally a killing factory. There were rooms piled high with the shoes and glasses of the victims. I won't forget it, even if BugginOut doesn't give a rat's ass.

The German name for Oświęcim is Auschwitz.
