Perhaps I misunderstood your post.
It appears as though you're defending the cleric who married a 12-year-old as a second wife because it's OK where he's from.
You completely misunderstood. I was trying to say it's not relevant to the topic of this thread. There's a big difference between a bloke with a big beard marrying a 12 year old girl (repulsive though that may be) and a worldwide terrorist network communicating by encrypted messages hidden in child-porn images, the subject of the OP. It would probably make a good separate thread as long as it's understood that there's a lot of fucked up societies and religions out there (and ignoring the fact that it would degenerate into an all out flame-war after three or four posts).
Very well.
I agree it's old school to be passing kites embedded in porn.
Don't they have encrypted satellite comms?
The point I was attempting to make was-
Islam seems to oppose anything that is anything that can be construed as Western decadence but then a Muslim cleric goes ahead and marries a 12 year old girl - (consummated or not) that, in the vast majority of western countries, would be considered as, child abuse, porn,or whatever, but anyway totally unacceptable by western standards, and expects the western world to accept it !
^I know that's the point you're trying to make, I just don't see what it has to do with the OP.
The age of sexual consent in the Philippines is 12 for all, but contacts with minors (under 18) are an offence if the minor consents to the act for money, gain or any other remuneration or as the result of an influence of any adult person.
How does this work then?
Ive never been to the Philippines.
Sounds horrendous.
We must learn to be more tolerant.![]()
In Germany, sexual intercourse is legal from the age of 14 in most cases. An exception is when the older partner is aged over 18 and is "exploiting a coercive situation" or offering compensation, in which case the younger partner must be over 16. In addition, it is illegal for someone aged over 21 to have sex with someone under 16 if they "exploit the victim's lack of capacity for sexual self-determination".
^^No, tolerance is for queers (who should be wiped out)! Flippos are catholics. Evil child-molesting scum who should be wiped out.
Hmmm, I suppose it's a view. Just for clarification do you suggest Catholics in general areOriginally Posted by DrB0b

Or just the Philippinoes?
Catholics, Muslims, Buddhists (just read about a monk who was arrested for diddling his bowl-carrier), Japs, Flippos, Chinks, Krauts, pretty much any country, culture, or religion that's ever had anything to do with child molestation. I've decided that rational thought and inquiry serves no useful purpose at all and have joined the string 'em up wild-generalisation knee jerk brigade. My life is going to be so much easier now that I've decided to stop using my brain. Now I can just know viscerally what's right and wrong and will never have to think again. If you'll excuse me I have to go out now and arrange a Fox News subscription.
BTW, as you missed it last time, that was sarcasm.
Odd, I thought we had this nailed down to a very narrow range of nominally, one Muslim cleric and his pre-pubescent wife or, at widest cast, any terrorist (or anyone else) who may be using child porn to communicate.
Bob's hardcore.![]()

If pedo stuff is online available for viewing, they must have pretty good protection to escape scrutiny, I would think?
Maybe this is why this avenue is pursued.
All it means is that underage kids may agree to have sex with each other, if they're over 12, if an adult persuades them to, that's illegal.
Makes perfect sense to me.Same principle, but narrower age range. In Germany, sexual intercourse is legal from the age of 14 in most cases. An exception is when the older partner is aged over 18 and is "exploiting a coercive situation" or offering compensation, in which case the younger partner must be over 16.
Sorry, which view point is that then?Originally Posted by DrivingForce
