When Fox News is already calling the election you know it is all over for the Republicans.
Guess they want to prep all their viewers so they don't shit themselves come Nov.

Was decided last year who was going to win.

FOX News/Rasmussen Reports Poll: Obama Widens Lead in Three Battleground States - FOXNews.com Elections
McCain is done , when their own propaganda tool reports this after all of their phony polls about McCain being in the lead.
Is is a DEAD GAME for the Nazi Republicans
looks increasingly likely that whichever canditate the GOP chose for this cycle was going to be nothing but fodder, bit like Kerry in 2004.
does anyone think another canditate could have done a better job?
Hind sight is 20/20 but when McCain won the GOP nomination, the issue was Iraq and his experience in this area and foreign policy were strengths. With the economy in free fall, he is playing outside his strength. Given the economic crisis, Mitt Romney would be the choice. Bloomberg didn't run but he would be my choice if he had.Originally Posted by ChiangMai noon

Could not agree more. Twas very short sighted. He needed to revitalize the core Republicans and Palin has certainly done so but has been a detriment in swaying Independents.Originally Posted by nidhogg
I agree with you on Romney, Norton.
He had the "conservativeness" even though a Mormon. He had the looks, and the packaging. Romney is not old and he seems intelligent and practical.
thought i'd post yesterday's polls again because I can see Earl lurking and I think they are funny.

Yeah earl, boonmee, and jet have gone very quiet. CNN is reporting the same. Laying most of the blame on Palin.

What have I missed?
Has Hollywood finally come true and a black man is President?

the fat lady has sung.

There is/was no way the xian right would have accepted Romney. Mccain would have faced a mutiny from his base.

not yet she hasn't.Originally Posted by ChiangMai noon

Also, we have 29 days to go.
I am crossing my fingers, but trepidation lingers.
The fat lady has sung and the only thing that can change it is a CIA sniper.

I am worried about the inherent racism prevalent in society . . . electing a 'black' man to represent 200million 'whites'. It is also fairly clear that the Hispanic vote will go to the Republicans, if they vote.
Nope, not over by a long shot . . .
I agree with several of the posters here that the Palin choice did more damage in the long run than the short term gains making it worthwhile.
A circus

I think the next presidency is going to be a poisoned chalice no matter who wins it.
McCain has been counted out before and he went on to steamroll his opponents. This isn't over in any sense. Polls are meaningless.![]()
