I think the proof is in the pudding. Dems continue to expand majority in Congress and in spite of extreme opposition from the "core" GOP, Obama is Prez.

The GOP needs to change the perception they represent the ideology of the far right and bring a moderated conservative policy if they hope to regain the losses of the last several years.

Ex Governor Palin certainly doesn't fit the bill!
