not big on political self-description but i guess i would call myself a liberal.

i have noticed a tendency amonst the more conservative posters to team up. the more liberal posters tend to sort of lone-wolf it. perhaps my perceptions are biased (thus my opening sentence) but i like the go it alone mentality of stroller, carey and others. the swarm mentality of the other team seems to mask insecurity to me. all the high fives, butt sniffing and towel snapping is unseemly. why not make a case without all this "i got your back" poo?
