If that was what you meant then I understood your reference to a 'fellow' to mean a personally known associate, which would make this an example of nepotism. I wouldn't say its a possession type jealously that people think is the main type of jealousy in the world. I always feel people are more jealous over people who have a history, a life past and present with great memories. People can surprisingly also get jealous of people who have hobbies and a constant enthusiasm for a particular activity. Any idiot knows that is what you strive for in life, not possessions or material goods. I guess why you chose to experience Africa instead of staying in the relatively normal confines of SEA, you've yourself gained a tremendous experience and one for people to be 'jealous' of! cheers
