    Australian Federal Election 2025

The 2025 Australian federal election will be held on or before 17 May 2025.

The incumbent Leftie Labor government of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will be seeking re-election to a second term in office, opposed by the conservative Liberal/National Coalition under Leader of the Opposition, egg-headed Bond-villain-esque former Queensland copper Peter Dutton.

Chinese AI declares Albanese the 'better' choice for PM

China’s shiny, new artificial intelligence chatbot, DeepSeek, has revealed which Australian political leader would be preferred by Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping.

China’s newly-developed artificial intelligence service, DeepSeek, has declared that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese would be a far more beneficial leader—from the perspective of Chinese national interests.

The artificial intelligence chatbot, which adheres to the Chinese Communist Party’s strict propaganda laws, has resoundingly endorsed Mr Albanese.

Prompted by Sky News as to which Australian leader would better serve the interests of China, the chatbot labelled Mr Albanese as Beijing’s number one guy.

he sold sky news australia to china ??? oh the humanity

I think we should require sky news australia to comment on dutton via deepseek ai

When Peter Dutton was asked this week whether a Coalition government would continue to foster trade relations with China, he declared unequivocally that "the relationship with China will be much stronger than it is under the Albanese government".

Yeah, nice avoidance of the reality that half of the Labor government employees directly receive benefits and are beholden to the CCP masters and much more than just a single media entity are now owned by Chinese investors.

How many people make up half of the Labor government employees? The CCP appear to be doing very well in Australia. I didn't think Australians were that stupid. I thought they were clever folks.

A story from six years ago about an investigation being started plus a link that can't be used to access anything doesn't really cut it.

Dutton's mob should win. We're in the strong man era. Pretending to be strong can be enough. The last thing I want to see is feminists determining an Australian government..

phaaark me, you’re more one eyed than a collingwood supporter

its not one story, it’s three. And that’s just the times they go caught. Buying the party and buying individuals.

face it, Labor owe and are owned by the CCP

albanese is a died in the wool, card carrying socialist. I work too hard for my money to be given to hippie cloths wearing dole bludgers!

ETA: however, while I earn USD I rake it in with the exchange rate so perhaps Labor is doing something right, eh? Looking forward to 2:1.

fuck it, I might even send in a postal vote for them

Socialism is a good thing , just more transparency of government spending is needed .record it all on a blockchain so it can be scrutinized . the US is a cautionary tale for the dangers of unhinged privatization of services that should be considered essential to a modern society .

There seem to be more and more passengers these days (i.e. people not working). This makes it difficult to keep taxes down and stop a slow drift to a more socialistic economy.

he is going to solve the housing crisis by not allowing immigrants to come to build houses , and solve the electricity price crisis by building nuclear power stations in 2040 which will be run by international corporations
