I would file the following 2 ideas under tinfoil nutbaggery:

1. The conflagration in the Oval Office last Friday was a master-plan cunningly rehearsed in advance by Trump and Vance
2. Putin is controlling Trump via a secret Moscow sex/peeing tape

On Friday Trump was uncharacteristically patient with Zelensky during the first 40 minutes, letting many of Zelensky's gripes about US support slide. Trump clearly wanted to do the mineral deal. Staging that pantomime makes no sense.

One of Trumps strengths (or character flaws depending on the way you look at it) is that he is relatively shameless for a major public figure, making him very difficult to blackmail in such a way.
