Hate to mention it but it is Untermenschen in both German and Yiddish
All German nouns start with a capital plus it is also a collective plural noun.
I don't know much but I do know German grammar.
As to your point it is true that both sides have been damaged and that makes a peaceful resolution harder.
However we saw the examples in Cyprus, South Africa , Vietnam, Ireland, Uruguay , Peru, Colombia where a way forward a modus vivendi while not ideal and satisfying all sides was a massive improvement on the status quo ante.
Nonsense, there is no equivalence in this conflict and certainly it is not analogous to any of those examples you have cited.
The Zionist occupation of Palestine was conceived with the Balfour Declaration and midwifed, post-Holocaust, by guilt ridden Western states, an invasion that supplanted the indigenous Arabs from their homeland.
Naturally, the Arabs want their home back and the right to live in it as they choose and not under the jackboot oppression of murderous and unaccountable Israeli thugs in uniform enforcing the fascist diktat of corrupt ageing despots.
Perhaps you are unfamiliar with the Cape colony or the Ulster plantations and the albeit imperfect RSA democracy and Belfast accords.
Unless you are Lucy in the rift valley we are all pretty much settlers or descended from settlers and migrants.
Regardless of history the question of peace making should go hand in hand with acknowledging and learning from history.
What is your final solution?
The solution is of course that the Israelis withdraw to their pre-1967 boundaries and leave the Palestinians alone to conduct their own affairs in their sovereign state mandated by the UN.
But I rather suspect many more Israelis will have to die before justice will prevail.
well it seems that s.a. along with the other supporters of hamas are in a loathsome minority consisting of the usual suspects. i.e. left wing students, corbynista politicians, middle eastern and north african illegal immigrants and tyrants in charge of rogue states.
the civilised world without exception has condemned the terrorist assault on israel by hamas and offered help, both military and intelligence.
as i said s.a. stick with slagging of the thais. theres a good breaking news story about a tuk tuk driver attacking a passenger in phuket. so why dont you grow up, put your naive 6th form politics to bed and get stuck into that one.

According to Oxfam, because of an import-export ban imposed on Gaza in 2007, 95% of Gaza's industrial operations were suspended. Out of 35,000 people employed by 3,900 factories in June 2005, only 1,750 people remained employed by 195 factories in June 2007.[230] By 2010, Gaza's unemployment rate had risen to 40% with 80% of the population living on less than 2 dollars a day.[231]
In January 2008, the Israeli government calculated how many calories per person were needed to prevent a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza strip, and then subtracted eight percent to adjust for the "culture and experience" of the Gazans. Details of the calculations were released following Israeli human rights organization Gisha's application to the high court.

It seems that contemptible POS David Lammy is due to take stage at a fringe event at the Labour conference with the top Palestinian Diplomat to the Palestinian Mission to the UK. Just a taste of what is ahead for the UK
Israel’s defence minister has ordered a “full siege” on the Gaza Strip as he declared his country is in a fight with “human animals”.excellent news. the cockroaches of hamas are facing extermination.Yoav Gallant said he would impose a total blockade in the city meaning no electricity, food or fuel will be able to enter the region.
Israel is able to restrict what goods are allowed in and out of the Gaza Strip through its border crossings while also controlling the air space above it.
“I ordered a full siege on the Gaza Strip. No power, no food, no gas, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly,” he said.
they are no different to al qaeda, and this attack is in many ways a 2023 version of the twin tower terrorist attack.
It's a facile argument that one expects from you. It fails on so many levels it isn't even worth discussing.
Israel would simply take more land off the Palestinians so it wouldn't end the conflict, just keep it out of the media.
I find it interesting that you support Israel, country that is taking land from another country, which it doesn't recognise but abhor the Russians for effectively doing the same thing.
An interesting paradox for the West.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Sunday he has ordered the Ford carrier strike group to sail to the Eastern Mediterranean to be ready to assist Israel after the attack by Hamas that has left more than 1,000 dead on both sides. Americans were reported to be among those killed and missing.
The USS Gerald R. Ford, the Navy’s newest and most advanced aircraft carrier, and its approximately 5,000 sailors and deck of warplanes will be accompanied by cruisers and destroyers in a show of force that is meant to be ready to respond to anything, from possibly interdicting additional weapons from reaching Hamas and conducting surveillance.
The large deployment reflects a U.S. desire to deter any regional expansion of the conflict. But the Israeli government formally declared war Sunday and gave the green light for “significant military steps” to retaliate against Hamas.

Indeed Tax, I agree, it is the view of the simpleton incapable of processing anything more complicated that taking a shit, raising a glass, mounting a heifer and, in your case, fiddling with a whippet.
So, what should the Palestinians do? Accept the theft of their homelands, accept settlement within a reservation that shrinks according to Jewish extremist orthodoxy, enjoy an economy that is utterly subservient to the protocol of the occupiers and have their movement over borders restricted and curtailed upon the whim of a military occupation.
None of those western countries whom you said condemned the Hamas action would accept that, you sclerotic tyke, and indeed we are united in the support of the Ukrainians whose sovereignty has been violated in pretty much the same way the Palestinian homelands were by the Israelis.
You really are quite puerile in your understanding of the issue but then, when you look at the constituency of the stupid that prevails currently in the West, you are in good company.
As i said, over 6000 Palestinians have been killed by Israelis since 2008 and countless others beaten, tortured and imprisoned indefinitely, but how many Israelis have died in the same period leading up to events before this turmoil? Ah yes, it was a tad over 300. And of those who died under the murderous fire and bombs of the IDF, how many were children? Ah yes, it was over 1400, wasn’t it. And how many Israeli children have died in the same period? Ah, 25. So Tax, who’s the fucking savages?
Honestly, so sad you can’t think for yourself. Is it vascular dementia or Alzheimer’s?
in other news, jeremy corbyn refused to condemn hamas yesterday at the labour party conference inthe uk, and it seems that the plucky little warriors of hamas have managed to kill 12 thai workers in their massacre. wonder what the thais did to annoy them?[/QUOTE] over charged them for sontam,? ran a jetski scam?
if you want to know why the israelis are so tough on the palestinians perhaps you should tune in to the thai news tonight. there was an interview with a high ranking official of the palestinian authority, supposedly the body that rules gaza. he was asked about the freeing of the dozens of thais taken hostage and their quick return to thailand. his answer was that yes, the thais have nothing to do with this and he would love to ser the thais freed, but gaza is ruled by hamas and nothing can be done without their permission. his hands are tied so to speak.
until hamas is destroyed, there will never be peace, and to destroy hamas, many civilians must also die. hamas are headquartered in schools, hospitals and residential areas.
i also urge you to read the hamas charter. it is a litany of hate and racist invective against the jews, threatening the end of the world unless islam is allosef to dominate.
that is why the carnage that will occur over the next few days is necessary.
once hamas is out of the picture, gaza would have a chance to become a democratic state, the palestinians can regain their pride and develop into a fully functioning trading nation. eventually there will be no need for borders. but so long as hamas, hezbollah and the other extremist islamist states are allowed to peddle and brainwash with their stone age religious fervour, there will only be a struggle to destroy israel. the religious israeli loons with the big hats and funny sideboards israeli side and netanyaoo also need to be silenced, but in the meantime, the obliteration of hamas is of the utmost urgency. the collateral damage will be horrendous, but there is no other way.
