    Stuck on page 6

Whether your children ask you or not, you must tell them that we love Palestine because

01: Palestine has been the land of the Prophets, peace be upon them all.

02: Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) first migrated to Palestine.

03: Allah Ta'ala saved Prophet Lut (peace be upon him) from the punishment that had befallen his people in Palestine.

04: Prophet Dawood (peace be upon him) lived in this land and built a masjid here.

05: Prophet Sulaiman (peace be upon him) used to sit in this country and rule over the whole world.

06: The famous story of the ant and Sulaiman in the Quran, in which an ant said to the rest of his ants, "O ants, get into your burrows and hide" happened right here in a valley in the city of Ashkelon in this country, which was later named "Wadi al-Naml" – Valley of the Ants”.

07: The mihrab/prayer place of Prophet Zakariyya (peace be upon him) is also in this city of Jerusalem.

08: Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) told his companions about this country and to enter this holy city. He called this city holy because of its being free from shirk and being the land of Prophets.

09: Many miracles took place in this city, including the blessed birth of Sayyidina Easa AS from the blessed and pure Sayyidina Maryam.

10: When his people wanted to kill Prophet Isa (peace be upon him), Allah Ta'ala took him up to the heavens from Jerusalem.

11: After giving birth, when a woman is at the extreme of her physical weakness, Sayyidina Maryam's shaking of the palm trunk to get dates in such a state is also a divine miracle.

12: One of the signs of the Day of Judgement will be the return of Isa to the earth in this city.

13: Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) will kill the Dajjal at Bab Lud in this land.

14: Palestine is the land where everyone will be raised, resurrected and judged.

15: It is from this city that Gog and Magog will start fighting and rioting across the earth.

16: One of the Quranic stories that happened in this city is the story of Talut and Goliath and Talut's triumph over Goliath.

17: Palestine also has the honour of being the first Qibla of Muslims after the five prayers became obligatory. After the Hijra, Sayyidina Jibreel (peace be upon him) directed our Prophet (peace be upon him) to turn his face from Masjid al-Aqsa (Jerusalem) to the Kaaba (Makkah) during prayer. The mosque in which this incident took place is still called the Qiblatin Mosque.

18: The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was brought here from Makkah to Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) before he was taken to heavens on the night of Ascension.

    19: All the Prophets
prayed here behind our Prophet (peace be upon him). Thus, Palestine once again became the land of all the Prophets.

20: Sayyidina Abu Dharr says that I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, which was the first mosque built on earth? So he said: Masjid al-Haram (i.e. the Kaaba). I asked which one? (When the mosque was built) he said: Al-Aqsa Mosque (i.e. Bait al-Maqdis). I then asked how much time was there between the two of them? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Forty years, and whenever you can, you should pray there"

21: After the departure of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, Sayyidina Abu Bakr dealt with the wars of apostasy and false prophets. Despite the dire need of military resources and manpower to deal with these many battlefronts, it is also an unforgettable fact that the army prepared by the Prophet was still sent by Abubakr to liberate the land of Palestine.

22: In the golden era of Islam, Sayyidina Umar as Khalifah, leaving aside all the other numerous Muslim conquests around the world, solely for the liberation of Palestine, himself went from Madinah and prayed there, highlighting the importance and greatness of this city.

23: The re-conquest of this city by Salahudidn Ayyubi on Friday 27th Rajab 583 Hijri on the night of Mi'raj is also a sign of Allah.

24: The name of Jerusalem is also Bait al-Maqdis and Al Quds due to the sanctity and holiness of this city which distinguishes it from all other cities. More than 5000 Companions of the Prophet sacrificed their lives to acquire this city and save it from the oppression and tyranny of the Christian Romans. And that chapter of martyrdom is not closed until this day. This city of Jerusalem is thus also known as the city of martyrs.

    Pray for Palestine.
    Shalom

Well Israel shelled Lebanon first so you could argue they actually brought them into it.

Benny is no mug, he's getting all sorts of excuses to unleash the dogs of war.

Its not antisemitic, you twit, it’s anti Zionist Israel that displaced an entire people from their homeland.

Presumably your correspondent is ‘other ranks’. And by the way, we don’t accord value simply because someone served in the forces, it doesn’t confer any special qualification leading to some supra-natural understanding.

The entire theatre of Russian operations within the Black Sea is to afford them the opportunity to turn Ukraine into a landlocked country. End of.

I wouldn't worry, with the bollocks snubby comes out with, his "Royal Navy vet of the Falklands war and a chap I respect" probably did KP on a supply ship outside the zone.

The thing is, the entire Christian bloc is doctrinally antisemitic for the very obvious reason it was the Jews who finagled Christ’s crucifixion. In my personal experience the most antisemitic folk in England are usually the right wing Tory gammons. Incidentally, Jews are still waiting for the First Coming.

The modern left wing Labour caucus have always been pro-Palestine but in political gamesmanship the Tories through their extensive media networks, the majority of British publications, always seek to portray this posture as ‘antisemitic’ when it is simply a manifestation of support for many UN resolutions.

You can see the Daily Telegraph and Times etc desperately trying to bend their stories to ensnare Starmer in the same Corbyn ploy so as to influence the forthcoming election. Par for the course but most septics are too ignorant to comprehend the metrics.

There was no blood stains on the front of her light gray tracksuit bottoms.

The stains on the rear were far more likely to be from her bloodied hands that were handcuffed behind her when she was sitting on them.

Are you low IQ, or purposefully trying to spread lies?
Ive never been clear exactly who you are or where you’re from but this has got to be one of the most ignorant, stupidest fucking responses I’ve ever seen. Are you a Pikey or a Bogan?

Incidentally, lest anyone should get carried away by the reports of atrocities by Hamas and would support the destruction of Gaza, perhaps they should reflect upon the slaughter of up to 3000 Palestinian children, women and old men at the Sabra and Chatila camps in Lebanon in 1982 by Lebanese militias permitted by the Israelis whose IDF personnel surrounded the camps blocking exits and who did nothing to prevent the killings.

The Israelis are simply reaping their rich harvest of just desserts.

    I understand that

I reckon that the money you'll get to survive hardly makes it a "nirvana".

Maybe it's my understanding of your nirvana concept that differs from your's.

To be clear … my comment is only addressing the exchange between Edmond and Bsnub regarding the one girl who was taken out of the back of the vehicle and moved to the rear seat. Both of them came to definitive conclusions regarding whether the girl had been raped or not. I don’t know if she had been raped or not. But if I was on a jury and the only evidence I had was the video there is no way in hell I could say the possibility that a forcible, anal rape had not occurred.

I’ll leave the “whataboutisms” of why she deserved it to SA.

No, not according to most statistics Prag but I’m well aware facts are not necessarily core to your belief system.

Most immigrants work hard and derive the same benefits as anyone else according to their incomes.

The real abusers are of course indigenous white English trash whose squadrons of baby farmers populate the country in their thousands.

    And the Welsh, of course.

Will Israel and Palestinians ever get along with each other and find peace? NO!

They can't even get along among themselves.

    So fuck them!

The level of insults here, and as far as I know numbers are not shooting each other yet, reflects how few have been victims of violence or see conflict close up. Thise who have lived in Belfast Bagdad or Beirut will know that the price of peace may be compromise , it begins with a cease fore and level headed respected people talking t each other in a civilized manner.

I am quite happy for folks to call Chelsea shit or my poor spelling on mobile phone or for peole to call my opinion of durian, 7-11 or rounders/baseball bollox,

I sense a lot of intolerance even on this board , there are surely many facets to this issue.

describing people as animals , vitrification old tropes against both jews, christians and muslims don't promote a peaceful resolution.
Disputes dating to time of Christ , the crusades, 1948, 1967, 1973 etc

But we are where we are in 2023.

There's oft a Sybille "at the bottom"

Eyeless in Gaza is a novel by Aldous Huxley, first published in 1936. The title is taken from a phrase in John Milton's Samson Agonistes:
... Promise was that IShould Israel from Philistian yoke deliver;Ask for this great deliverer now, and find himEyeless in Gaza at the Mill with slaves ...The title of the book, like Milton's poem, recalls the biblical story of Samson; he was captured by the Philistines, his eyes were burned out and he was taken to Gaza, where he was forced to work at grinding grain in a mill.
The chapters of the novel are not ordered chronologically. Huxley's biographer, Sybille Bedford,
