I understood it but was making a point to these Malthusians such as Barbaro appears to be that's not the correct course of action to 'fix the world'.

    ^ Good point, Jet

Could you see the need for birth control in Milkmans dream world ?

Or healtcare ? Or pensions ? Or retirement homes ?

In the wast majority of countries in the world I live in, there are no other option, than having your kids working the fields, provide for you when sick and growing old.

    Address the subject, Jet

Well folks, Hanoi Jane is back in the news again. Like a bad penny, she keeps turning up no matter how hard we try to forget her:

It appears she has again run afoul of the law:
According to documents first unveiled by The Smoking Gun, the Fonda Foundation – of which the 75-year-old actress serves as president and chairman of the board – hasn’t donated a dime to charity over the last five years, according to its filed federal tax returns.
The last year her foundation donated money was 2006: “one single $1,000 donation to the Atlanta Obstetric and Gynecology Society.” Just guessing they specialize in abortions, eh?

The IRS requires that private foundations donate at least 5% of their assets annually. But that notoriously politicized agency is most likely too busy putting screws to conservatives to follow up on a fellow traveler like Ms Fonda.

Raising more eyebrows is the alleged notion that the group has attempted to grow its financial value through the stock market, as evidenced by the 2011 filing, which lists 166 separate trades totaling around $2200.

These Limousine Leninists never seem to learn...

$2200? In 166 trades? In an "alleged notion"?

Clearly the financial crime of the century!

She's back in the news boys, and girl:

Hanoi Jane Fonda announced this week that she will build a shrine to herself.

Maybe she’ll include a Viet Cong tank and a Communist flag?

    Best quote ever!

Jane Fonda once said, “If you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would some day become communist.”

At 77, the actress is building a “shrine” to herself that she hopes will boost her recently faltering confidence.

“I’ve found myself backsliding a bit of late in terms of where my thoughts have tended to reside (not always with the generosity of vision I wish for) and my confidence has been iffy for the past four months,” the stunning star wrote in a blog post Sunday, her 77th birthday.

“So, while meditating today an idea came to me: I’m going to create a shrine to myself – or, at least, the self I wish to be, the self who began to manifest when I was a young girl before the s–t hit the fan,” she continued.

The “shrine” will be a small place filled with items that remind Fonda of “the qualities that represent my best self.” So far, she plans to include a school report from the fourth grade.

She’ll spend the new year collecting objects and symbols that “remind me that I’m brave.”

It was never going to be easy growing up in her fathers footsteps, an American film icon.
I understood he married five times (one wife died).

I thought Barbarella would be a fitting statue to help her remember her youth.

At 77, more like a Memorial. Her sex siren days are long gone, as is the Vietnam War.

I'm not surprised, she isn't getting a lot of work these days, mostly bit parts.

She has a nice role in The Newsroom and looks awesome for her age.
If Jane Fonda still gives phony patriots night sweats I feel very sorry for them.

I can't see how she was an " out of touch moonbat " Mr. Mee.

She did back the winning team from quite early on in the game. Although, to be fair, she did make the same mistake as all your generals and successive administrations in confusing what was a war of nationalism with something they imagined to be doctrinal.

I think she should have an honorary entry on the Black V to celebrate her outstanding contribution to American history and it's silly involvement in a daft war that killed so many innocent Vietnamese.

    Loved her in Klute.

..Yes, only if she was one of the elites.

She was a customer of mine for years - a dullard obsessed with being obsessed, not an original thought in her shallow vapid mind, a snob, rude and inconsiderate to her fans and known for being a very lousy tipper ..this is when she had an estimated wealth of $150 million !

    Communist indeed

Well, appreciate the sentiments although there are some aboard the good ship Teak Door who would take issue with that. Stick around and experience the lefties rage at the thought she should have been brought up on charges of Treason for her actions in N. Viet Nam.
