Neither Liz Truss nor Rushi Sanak have the leadership qualities required to patch the damaged caused to the Tory party. The failure of the Boris government was a predictable outcome and whoever leads in the Autumn will be riding a dead horse in hell.

Agree, should have been a general election but from a purely political standpoint this silliness ensures the Conservatives remain in power albeit with a completely incompetent leader and PM.

It’s surprising that such an ‘intellect free zone’ as Truss seems to have it sealed already, according to those supposedly ‘in the know’.

I reckon it could end up closer than a lot of people think.
