I disagree, Iceman . . .
* Eurozone applications would be tendered, I doubt many would object too strongly.
* Borders are all over Europe - easily manageable to keep the soap-dodgers out.
* Currency is up to them - no-one to stop Scotland from using the Scottish pound pound
* Kransky - communist state? Hardly.
* Many Scots would object and opt for a Norwegian style of relationship. Reality of joining the EU would be a minefield.
* Borders would be one of the biggest challenges due to geography among other things. NI should fully highlight this.
* No the currency question is not up to the Scots. It is highly unlikely that Scotland would be able to opt out of the Euro. They would never be allowed the special status afforded to the UK. Currently only 18% of Scots would support a transition to euro. There is no Scottish pound it is GBP printed with permission and is legal currency but not legal tender (there is a difference).
* Sturgeon is ultra left wing, if not a commie, then I would not like to live on the difference.
