‘What a tedious, predictable twat’ kind of encapsulates yours.
4 Days to go, can't see any other outcome aside from a Truss landslide.
Final debate took place last night and i'd assume most have voted by now so it was probably a waste of time.
I doubt the EU are going to be happy with Truss if rumours about her stance and candidates for key positions in the foreign office et al are to be believed.
Today is the day, although i think its fairly clear who'll win. Whoever, they've got a bit of a poisoned challis.
Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak to be announced as UK's next PM
Boris Johnson's successor as UK prime minister will be revealed later when either Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak is named next Conservative leader.
The winner of the leadership contest will be announced at 12:30 BST, before then taking office on Tuesday after formal appointment by the Queen.
The new PM will inherit a flagging economy, with inflation at a 40-year high.
They are also under pressure to cushion the blow of soaring energy costs.
Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, tipped by pollsters to win, has promised to announce further help to shield consumers within a week of taking over.
She then plans to deliver £30bn in tax cuts through an emergency Budget later this month, arguing the UK's tax burden is behind sluggish growth.
Her rival, former chancellor Mr Sunak, has signalled he believes he has lost, saying his job "now is just to support a Conservative government

the UK does not have a president.Appears a landslide but less than 1% of the voting public will have put her there.
The UK votes a political party into office based on its policies.
The party members vote to choose its leader.
Boris was bad but he's not Gerhard Fritz Kurt "Gerd" Schröderthe only way is up as Hal sang at the end on last season
closer than i thought it would be...
Sir Graham Brady has given some numbers on the margin of Liz Truss' victory over Rishi Sunak.
He says Truss won 81,326 votes compared to Sunak’s share of 60,399 votes.
Brady adds there was a turnout of 82.6%
Now the fun begins.... the next Gen election....its already fun, a winter of discontent and a Labour leader against industrial action by the unions who largely fund the party.
Starmer congratulates Truss - but criticises years of Tory rule
Liz Truss has been congratulated by her next prospective opponent, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer.
However, the positive sentiments end shortly afterwards, when he says: "But after 12 years of the Tories all we have to show for it is low wages, high prices, and a Tory cost of living crisis."
Starmer adds that "only Labour can deliver the fresh start our country needs".
usually its americans who defect and become canadians, so what, may i ask, prompted you to change?I was a Canadian before I was an American
....or at least the UK is...
I wonder how many in the Tory party are now feeling a bit of buyers remorse?
