Not sure Russia will like that, Transnistria
I read an article on this Transnistria some time ago- what a weird place, like a time warp. Sure, it's a 'pro Russian enclave', much the same way I reckon as Civil War re-enacters are 'all-American'. But it is downright Stalinist- they worship him there. So not exactly the same as Russia today.
Looks like it yeah. Nato looks to be making a move on Transnistria. There's the biggest arms depot in Europe there or something ? That appears to be one of the reasons
Oooh. Big boom there if it gets struck. From a couple of years back.
The Russian ammunition depot from Cobasna discussed against the backdrop of the Beirut explosion
After the Beirut explosion, some politicians and experts from the Republic of Moldova started discussions, while expressing their concern, regarding the biggest ammunition depot in Eastern Europe located in Cobasna village, which is under the jurisdiction of Tiraspol. The depot is permanently on the OSCE list of ‘red alerts’, which frequently drew attention to this time bomb on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
MP Mihai Popsoi, member of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), has expressed concern about consequences of a possible explosion at this depot. “This depot of the Russian Federation pose a danger to the citizens of Moldova. That is why old ammunition must be urgently evacuated or destroyed with special equipment,” the MP said.
The opposition believes that the well-known solution, namely the immediate evacuation of ammunition, is not put in practice primarily due to the obedience to Russia of the Chisinau authorities, first of all President Igor Dodon.
“The problem is that, in the last two decades, access to the depot has not been allowed to any international observers. The information is provided only by the separatist regime or the contingent of the Russian Federation,” stated former Minister of Defence, Vitalie Marinuta.
“First of all, there are chemical processes that cannot be controlled. So, at any moment we can have involuntary explosions because of the way the weapons are stored,” claimed Ion Leahu, a former official of the Unified Control Commission (UCC).
In case of an explosion, as Marinuta declared referring to a study conducted by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Moldova, the power of the explosion would be equivalent to that of a 10 ton atomic bomb.

The military depot in Cobasna was created in the 1940s in Transnistria. During the Soviet period, the artillery ammunition depot no. 1411 was a strategic arsenal of the western military district of the USSR. Most of the ammunition was stored here after the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the former GDR, Czechoslovakia and other socialist countries. Currently about 20000 tons (!) of weapons and ammunition are stored at this depot and a possible explosion could cause a huge ecological and human disaster.
The last Russian proposal regarding the ammunition depot from Cobasna was launched in August 2019 by the Russian Minister of Defence. It provided for the initiation of a new process of scrapping the ammunition stored in Cobasna, but things did not change for a year.

NATO countries will have disposed of most of their shelf life expired munitions to Ukraine by now.
That might include former Warsaw Pact countries stocks of older Soviet stuff. It’s a good way of getting rid of time expired munitions. Send them to Ukraine, enabling Cold War Soviet stuff to be used against Putin. Love the irony of that.
Followed by a sob story when they start levelling central Kiev in retribution...
I personally believe that tanks and long range artillery on both sides exemplify their vulnerability in relatively modern day warfare.
They might be useful if a country was up against natives with spears, but even that argument is lost when one considers the passionate refusal of Ukrainians to surrender to bullies using Cold War methods.
Kremlin reacts to ‘terrorist attacks’ in Transnistria
Russia says the situation in the breakaway region is “concerning”

"The president of the self-proclaimed republic of Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, has traced the latest spate of what he described as “terrorist attacks” in the republic back to Ukraine. Speaking on Tuesday, he cited the results of a probe conducted by local authorities, urging Kiev to investigate the armed groups that had allegedly infiltrated his region and hit several targets there. Krasnoselsky surmised that “those who arranged this assault aim to drag Transnistria into the conflict.”
He also called on Moldova, from which Transnistria seceded a war in 1992, to engage in talks to “preserve peace.”
“Don’t let Moldova be dragged into an aggression against Transnistria,” the official implored, warning that it could lead to a “big war.”
Earlier on Tuesday, that country's President Maia Sandu convened its security council over the situation in the breakaway region between Moldova and Ukraine. She claimed that the “attempted escalation has to do with forces inside Transnistria, which want war and are interested in destabilizing the situation.”
Sandu said that the security situation in the self-proclaimed republic had been deteriorating for several weeks, with reports of explosive devices planted in Transnistria’s education and healthcare facilities. The official added that there had been no direct contact between Chisinau and Tiraspol recently, with the Moldovan government not planning to discuss the issue with Moscow either.
Speaking on Tuesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the recent wave of explosions in Transnistria as “concerning,” adding that Moscow was “watching the situation very closely.”
Transnistria, officially known as the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), has been placed on a terror alert following a spree of attacks. On Monday, the local security service’s office in Tiraspol was hit with a disposable rocket launcher. That same day, a military base in Parkany was also targeted. No casualties were reported as a result, however.
Early on Tuesday, two radio masts were blown up in the village of Mayak.
Since the predominantly Russian-speaking region became de facto independent in 1992, Russian peacekeepers have been stationed there."

One assumes, "the Transnistria’s education and healthcare facilities", are utilised by all of its citizens, Men, Women and Children.
Or are their separate facilities, depending on their sex, age, political stance or size of wallet? If so, a smaller number of "red lines" would be crossed.
US wants no ‘spillover’ of Ukraine conflict to Moldova – Pentagon
Washington doesn’t want to see the Ukraine conflict expand to Transnistria or Moldova, says the US defense secretary

"The US is still analyzing the recent incidents in the breakaway region of Transnistria and does not want to see the conflict in Ukraine “spilling over” to the area, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Tuesday at a conference in Germany on supplying Kiev with weapons and equipment.
“We’re still looking into the cause of that, still doing analysis there, so not really sure what that’s all about, but that’s something we’ll stay focused on,” Austin told reporters at the Ramstein military base in Germany.
“Certainly, we don't want to see any spillover, ....

Allegedly "uncertain" of the situation, one official, the NaGastan "defence" secretary, washes is hands and doesn't see any "red lines" being crossed.
We await his commander, POTUS's statement, confirming his statement.
A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
The US, Canada, Bulgaria, France, Israel, Great Britain and Germany have called on their citizens to leave Transnistria.
Transnistria has ordered the mobilisation of all men between 18 and 55.
No it was you and some others. Which is fine. You aren't remotely as read on the subject as me. But why do it again and blow off the idea that there could be another war.
Sabang was simply counter signaling the US deep state because everything they said hence about Russia was bullshit
